A surge in non-local POT's who find me and want to move quickly to casual BCD's whenever I feel like it.
Had one reach to me from 60 miles south and when I told her I only go local, she said she'd travel to me whenever I want. Met her at a nearby bar and she's smoking hot blond, 25 yrs and a total freak. She actually brought her own toys! A lot of toys!! As far as I can tell, she's not a pro - meaning she's not posting escort ads. She says she has a job as a make up artist for movies and TV, drives a BMW and when I asked her how much sugar she wanted (after we had gone BCD) she just shrugged and said whatever you want. I don't really need a lot of cash. Maybe just something for shopping. Gave her $300 and she looked happy. Would have easily gone to 400+ if she asked. Seen her three times now, always on time and always great BCD.
Another reached out to me yesterday. Note that I had switched on my profile view after having it hidden for a while. within 15 minutes of turning it back on, got a fav and a message from a POT SB 75 miles east of me. Again, told her I'm local only and she said she'd come to me. She's Asian, 32 and works in fast food. I told her I'd need to see tests before I agree to meet (I always do this, but usually only after a M&G and negotiating sugar) and she sent me a pic of her recent results 2 minutes later. I offered a real low-ball sugar and she accepted immediately. I think she's just looking to get laid to offset the boredom of her low-income life in the sticks. Gave her the address of a nearby fast food place and told her to text me when she gest there. That will be next Friday and we'll see how it goes.
What's notable about both of these was I really tried everything to discourage them, from requiring them to travel to me at their cost, to low balling the sugar to demanding fairly specific BCD conditions. Stuff that has in my past led POT's to insta-bail on me. They just agreed and pressed on. The 1st has been very submissive BCD, which I like. And I get the feeling the Asian will be as well. Maybe that's a factor? Also, both of these SB's only want P4P. But I don't get a "pro" vibe from either of them. I think they just like to fuck older guys and get some extra cash along the way. Maybe the sugar bowl is a way to rationalize/legitimize being a whore because they are, presumably, not going to bars and looking for random hook ups?
Meanwhile, I've seen a fair number of 18-20 yr old newbies in my area. But they are, predictably, much more skittish. I've seen two that messaged me back and forth a few times, only to see them shut down their profiles later that day. I'm going to wait to favorite any more of these until they've had a week or two to sort through the chaff.
Just remember that every year there is a new crop of POT SB's looking to enter the sugar bowl. Keep your profiles up to date and look for the best new tasty treats!

I haven't noticed it yet, but do expect it. Common seasonal phenomena include:
Ebbs and flows in college towns according to the academic calendar.
Increases in new faces and numbers in major job centers (NYC, DC, etc.).
Post-New Years increases based on resolutions as well as Christmas shopping bills.
Now the holidays are past and a long boring winter season is upon us up here in the frozen tundra, I've started getting renewed ping backs from SB's I have merely viewed. (I don't usually favorite or send the first message.)
