Hi There LG,  First of a few inquiries since becoming a recent VIP..Question..Can ingesting semen once or twice a week affect my lady's HRT dosage..She takes Estratest, which has testosterone, and won't ask her Gynodoc..She's post menopausal,62, and Thank God, loves my cock..but also seems to grow lots of facial hair, which she hates..Thanks for your wonderful wisdom..

Good grief no, lwylwy,
Even if your sperm is the most delicious substance on earth, it does not contain enough hormones to alter the effects of HRT. But Estratest is one powerful whopper of a hormonal cocktail. For SOME women, not all, it contributes to increasing libido. And yeah, it surely will increase facial hair and even pimples. But maybe that's a small price to pay for getting it on if you've once felt that dreary loss of horniness...

Keep spreading that spoo, it's not going to affect anything except your happiness quotient,

Dear LG,
As a newbie, I hope you don't mind my picking your brain about various topics..But for the price of subscription, I think it's worth it just to get good info..If you want to put this on the discussion board for other feedback,I approve.. Your prerogative??
I have not/probably never will use a provider at my stage of life,61, even though TER has been titillatingly on my radar for 4-5 years..If only I had this site 10 yrs ago, when I was alone and more horny!! My first question is about STDs and if condoms are enough, and if showers help after encounters..Is there a way to cover the whole groin without laughs or untimely delays? Thanks..

So,these questions are mostly theoretical..But may help others with the same concerns..

No problem, lwylwy,
The issue is that YOU will need to make an informed decision based on facts. Please go to the linked website and read up on all the STDs and how to prevent them.

No, taking showers do not prevent STDs. The only 100% safe thing to do is to abstain from sex with a partner altogether. Beyond that, condoms, if applied and used correctly, reduce HIV and some other STD transmission significantly.

Yes, there is a way to cover the whole groin. You can wrap your groin in Saran Wrap. For extra safety, you can then put on a condom, then wear rubber gloves. Make sure the other party covers her groin as well and puts on rubber gloves. Do not exchange bodily fluids or touch vascular tissue such as genitals, lips, inside of the mouth, etc. You can also make a dental dam out of Saran Wrap. Just rip off a piece and place over your tongue and mouth. You can then provide safe cunnilingus to the female. For the male, apply condom and then get sucked. Be sure to put some lubricant inside the condom for extra friction.

I have seen much of the plastic wrap technique in a heterosexual sex ed film about STD protection which was made during the 1980s. I laughed maniacally throughout the whole thing, particularly when the romantic couple unraveled the Saran Wrap and literally covered themselves in it, while fiddling with condoms, lube and each other, all in one fell swoop.

Your best defense is self-education, way beyond the scope of this board. Please check out the link for yourself and then make up your mind. and remember: nothing is 100% safe except total abstinence, partnerwise. Spanking the monkey is lovely and very safe, although it probably can get lonely in the end.

If all else fails, go for the aluminum foil ;-)

I have wondered about much of that, although the mental image is a bit silly.. for example, wouldn't it make sense for a condom type form of protection (barrier method) to cover the balls as well, as there is clearly contact there that could easily result in an STD? In addition, when the condom doesn't go all the way down to the base- that is also worrisome on occasion. And as far as the latex gloves- again, the visualization is silly and almost  seems overdone, but if both partners are using their bare hands on their own and one another's genitals, isn't this actually extremely unsafe? For example, if a guy fingers a gal, then grabs his own dick, then they both use their bare hands to put the condom on and proceed to boink, it seems that there could be a potential for anything present (disease-wise) to be spread quite easily. I guess my point is, that is both partners are clean, all is well. If one partner has something that is transmitted in fluids, a condom would effectively prevent say HIV spread, or an unwanted pregnancy. But with things like herpes and warts, which are at the surface, it seems that if one partner has one of these conditions, a condom would actually be a very ineffective barrier. And how effective is the visual test- ie. checking your partners genitals visually before sex? I mean, since such STDs can be spread without any signs of an outbreak, how should you best protect yourself- especially in this hobby, involving multiple partners, and spouses or civilian partners to protect as well?? Thanks LG..

Dear wh0a,
We get this question on this board every 3 weeks or so, it seems. The answer is as I stated before - it's up to your own judgment and RISK TOLERANCE. Obviously, there is no safe way to have 100% risk-free sex with unfamiliar partners, no matter what they say.

It's like having ONE drink and getting into your car and driving 30 minutes later [normal scenario for Los Angeles, actually, sorry to say]. Most people know that it's not legal, and most people do not get busted or have accidents. But for that one person who gets nailed by the LAPD waiting around the corner from [insert hip bar here], or somehow ends up in a fender-bender, it's a very, very unlucky event. And we all know what can happen. But does it stop us from having that one [or more] drink(s)? Every time I go to a nice dinner and there's a bottle of wine involved and I drive home [since The Saint refuses, sharp cookie that he is, LOL,] I'm potentially one step away from losing my therapist's license if I get a DUI. Does that stop me? Shamefacedly, I have to say no.

Well, this is analogous. You could go out there and screw 1,000 women for years with BBBJ, DATY, rimming, etc. and have 0 consequences...or you could bury your head in one person's crotch in the prodromal stage of a herpes outbreak..and get infected. And the visual test in that case means nothing, nada, because you're not going to see anything unusual.

I'll say it again: the hobby [and having dinner in LA, for some :-0] is not for the faint-hearted!

Egads,
