I'm in negotiations with a POT SB. She's an porn star and she's good with my proposed schedule, dating activities, and offered PPM.  

 
But she wants to be paid in Bitcoin (BTC). Of course, I have a BTC account and wallet app, but I don't keep much in it.  I am aware of why BTC is a "sex worker" positive format - it appears to be anonymous (it really isn't) and it is not reversible.  It's easy to add more funds to my BTC wallet. So no tech or funding issues here... it's just a sugar first for me.  

 
I am inclined to agree - after our first date/BCD - but thought I'd see what ideas and opinions might be floating around here...

The only thing with any electronic payment, as opposed to cash, is the point in the encounter when the transfer occurs. She wants it in advance and you want it after services are rendered. She can ghost if she gets it in advance or she might refuse to meet if she doesn't trust you to pay after. It's just smoother with cash since it's right there on the table.

With cash up front, there is the danger of a "cash and dash." With reputable providers, that is rare. But with a new unknown (no reviews, of course) SB ...?  With BTC, she can still "take the coin and purloin" (???) or "BTC and flee" (better?).

My question is more about how/if BTC is impacting the allowance and overall sugar process.  

 
Not really looking to reopen questions on deposits or paying in advance. That's been done too many times.  This POT SB has escort ads on multiple porn escort sites has reviews dating back 4 years. She also uses SA to sugar date - perhaps as an additional avenue to book clients, (which I don't mind), perhaps because she really wants to find a long-term SD (although I doubt that's her motivation right now). So I'm not worried about her dashing once she arrives at my place and gets her allowance. And I'm certain I am in contact with the real star, so not a catfish.  

 
I'm just wondering if being asked to pay (or offering to pay) with BTC is a rising trend. In my experience dating (mostly) 19-26 year old SB's, I'd say most of them don't know anything about crypto and would be nervous if I offered it. I just recently went with one of my 25 yr old Latinas to a credit union office to help her open a checking and savings account, and get a debit card to go with it. I had to educate her on the idea of splitting her paycheck direct deposit between two accounts, why credit unions give lower loan rates, and setting aside 5-10% of each paycheck into savings.  If I told her I would only be paying her in BTC going forward she would think I'm trying to scam her...

Not being asked and not offering.  I am real uncomfortable with bitcoin as a currency because I don't really understand how to value it since it has been so volatile lately.  I guess its no different that trading dollars for pesos to go to Mexico but I don't go to Mexico either. lol

That's certainly true about the effort required to learn how to use bitcoin, when some of these SB's don't even know how to open a regular debit-card account.  So I think if an SB mentions it, she's spent the effort figuring it out.  If she doesn't mention it, best to stick with cash.

First and foremost, as people said, there is mew knowledge involved and the need to keep a wallet account.  
Second, there is the timing of the transaction: it doesn’t really work as well as Cashapp let’s say for the “after” transaction of a full date ppm…after transfer, the three or four confirmations to complete a transfer take too long.  

Therefore it is probably better suited for a regular allowance situation. There’s your main rate limiter: from a post earlier this year I gathered not many guys go into the allowance situation vs ppm. That’s all assuming the girl recognizes the unique benefits offered by BTC.

Over on Tryst they have set up links to gift BTC to their models.  It can only be used by them on their account. Which amounts to buying a boost in their appearance order on searches.  I have done so several times for two gals. A learning curve if you have not used BTC before. Other than that not much of a problem. The two ladies have shown their appreciation, as most probably know, placement is very important to income on there.

tryst.link is def NOT another sugar dating site.  They call themselves the "Home of the Independent Escort".   I have not found the site useful, but explore it yourself and make your own determination.

Tryst is an escort advertising site. It spun off from switter. Switter was created around 2018 as restrictions started increasing on other sites, like Backpage.

...based on comments here is that BTC is a tool used by mostly, if not exclusively, pros.  SB's are generally not asking for, comfortable with, or even aware of, BTC or other crypto currencies.  

 
Now as I've said before, I have no problem with pros using SA to find SD's. In fact, as I found with the POT noted above, it will get me into an arrangement with her at about 40% less than her advertised escort hourly rate for for our PPM BCD's which I expect will be 3-4 hour dates.  

 
But it might be wise to add requests to pay with crypto to your "yellow" or "red" flag list if you care about your POT's day (or night) job.

I don't think her business is suffering at all. She's in several new videos released this year. I don't know if her escort volume has dropped or not, but I see nothing in her social media, other than getting kicked off SA, that suggests she's lost business.  What I was alluding to in my sugar rate is that the 40% I'm not paying is the booking agency portion, not her take home revenue.  

 
It's a technique I've used successfully a few times when I want to bang a porn star. Connect through social media, make NO mention of her escort ads or services, then politely inquire if she's interested in sugar dating.  So I get a significant discount off the ad rates of $1,500 - $3,000 a hour. If she directs me to her booking site, I just move on.
