I jump in with my own thoughts.  So apologies to you and LG for my itchy trigger  However your question piqued my interest because I've been playing with RX help for these very same reasons.

I don't have ED and easily get 'hang-your-hat-on-it' erections when aroused.  I also have no problem climaxing and I don't even get stymied by condom loss of sensitivity...for Round 1.   And there in lies the catch and my own dilemma.    

I'm 53, I am fit and I enjoy excellent health.  However my ability to achieve a second climax is quite elusive.  I know I can go daily but exactly what amount of recovering interval I require is hit and miss.  It is very rare indeed when I can go again in an hour.  Sometimes I need a couple of hours and sometimes I need even more.  It is frustrating as hell and I tend to get down and a bit embarrassed when a more than willing partner can't get me over the top twice.  I usually can manage about 75% hardness again, stiff enough for penetration for sure, but I just can't manage to fire again and if the stimualtion wanes for the shortest time then so too will my erection. Condom impedence during Round 2 is significant and my only successes seem to be uncovered oral sex but even then not always.    

And so I've entered the RX market to see if it would help.  I must disclose that I've done this outside a Dr's direction and I'll be the first to admit that this is foolish but that is another story.  

What I have found is that Viagra, Cialis and Levitra absolutely do not help me to ejaculate a second time.  As stated I can get 75% firmness the second time around on my own.  Perhaps I get a bit harder the second time when I use these meds but they are not helping me climax at all.  This is mind boggling to me because all my life I associated an erection with cumming.  If I got hard, I always could cum.  Now this is no longer the case and it is driving me nuts.

I have played around with varying the dosages with each of the 3 and I have also varied when I took them (sometimes before Round 1 when I do not need them, and other times between Round 1 and Round 2).  It does not seem to matter.  The unpredictability of when I can fire #2 remains.

I'm still experimenting if you will but I'm beginning to realize some things.  ED drugs are not made for second pops so I'm looking for aid in an area in which they were not designed to help.  Second this problem of mine is likely a natural combination of my age, genetics and a predictable drop in my testosterone levels.  I hope I can find a remedy but if not there are a few facts that really matter most to me:

- Thankfully I can have sex and cum every day.  Someday I'm sure that this will change too.

-  When I do cum, it is as good as it ever was.  My O's remain spine tingling and I luv them.  There is a point where I might have to realize that I'm sexually satisfied and not really horny after Round 1 so why am I really trying again?  

-  When I'm with a beautiful woman and we are playing around after Round 1, it's still a lot of fun.  I enjoy the time and the embedded efforts.  If it works, bonus time.  If not it was still all good and Round 1 afterglow remains awesome.

I'll admit I have to work on accepting my last bullet point a bit more.  But for now, like Mick and the boys sang...

What a drag it is getting old...

Let's prequalify my answer immediately, al43,
I am not a physician and therefore cannot dispense medical advice. I can, however, ask a few questions that may lead you to a self-conclusion:

Has "cuming" twice ever been on your regular menu? In other words, was this part of your regular sexual repertoire before ED set in?

If so, maybe Levitra or Cialis could work for you. I say MAYBE, because we're talking drugs here, which do not work with 100% predictability.
If not, then I doubt they would have any additional benefits in store for you.

So other than checking with your prescribing physician for a change in meds, I don't think anyone on this board or elsewhere could give you a surefire answer.

From a psychological viewpoint, however, I don't see any "problem" with the blue pill. In fact, I think it's great if you go from 0 to 60 at least once, with the help of Viagra. Just think if the pill didn't help at all...sometimes it's just a gifthorse, and looking in its mouth could indeed prove fruitless. So even if you were accustomed to twin ejaculations, maybe this is the best there is.

Why not get a script for the other two, and please report back to us

I have been using the Blue Pill for several years.  I have suffered from ED since my prostate was removed about 9 years ago.  I have found that I can cum twice with Viagra, under the right conditions.  But as I have aged (I am now in my mid-60s) the second orgasm has been more difficult.  This should be no surprise--the change occurred soon after I got into my 60s

For me, Viagra is the best of the 3.  But for you it might be different.   If you do not suffer from ED, then your reaction to these medications may well be different.

Just passing along some information.

Injection into the Penis (painless) provides an erection for 90 minutes aroused or not. 90 minutes of hard-on.  Cum at will and at your own pace.

Re: problem with the 'blue pill'??

I'm 57 years old and have used the blue pill before. I'm currently living part of the year in Asia and was not able to refill my prescription. Was seeing a Chinese medical practitioner for some back problems and was getting great results from a combination of acupuncture and herbal remedies. Asked for an herbal medicine for "male strength" and got some great pills that I take once a day. Then I'm back in LA longer than planned and run out of pills. Go to an Herbal medicine store in an Asian neighborhood and ask for Something to improve "male strength". Several choices, picked one on recommendation of female shopkeeper and very pleased with results. M
