Dear Traveling Salesman,

Yes, it's true - for some people, ejaculation comes quicker with age. For others, it's the other way around. As to the creams - well, they do work for some, although an unintended side effect is loss of total sensation with just "blind wood" [my own expression]. Try it once and experience the sensation. Another is wearing a thicker condom, although for some, that just turns into another dull bother with no benefits and more drawbacks in the sensation department.

You can practice the standard remedies for PE, such as start/stopping when inside; pulling out and applying the Seamans' squeeze to the head of the penis; and of course making use of lots of teasing techniques coming from the provider. With this, I mean that she can stimulate you orally and titrate the sensation - if she of the more erotically skilled persuasion. Another option is to skip foreplay altogether, go for the entire enchilada, ejaculate, wait and go for oral or manual seconds. The goal here is not to ejaculate again, but to be brought to the brink of ecstacy and possibly have a "dry orgasm."

It could work - gotta experiment,

How about trying condoms that are looser around the head.

I really learned something here. Some guys actually pop quicker with age?? I thought it was always the other way around. I would be interested in the physiological explanation for that.

Dear infomike,

Many men experience difficulty in sustaining long-term erections with age; hence, some ejaculate quite rapidly after getting maximum lift, so to speak. As with everything physio-sexual, there are infinite variations on the same theme, in this case aging and male sexuality.

In addition, the psychological experience of getting with someone new and exciting may contribute to rapid ejaculation. That seems independent of age and more in tune with the male propensity for visual stimulation and variety-seeking. Either way, it's difficult to make a correct diagnosis, particularly since we're not there to witness the entire act from start to finish.

Have a good weekend,
the Love Goddess

Thanks for the explanation, LG.

Being an older guy, myself, I wish that I could ejaculate quicker with someone new and exciting instead of having the constant fear that I'll frustrate her because I'm taking so long to pop or lose my erection.
