Practical solutions

My current #1 SB on my A-List rotation is going to be 21 this month.  She is a beautiful Asian Spinner going to college for a Digitial Art degree.  She doesn't drink and isn't interested in starting once she is 21 - not a problem for me (think of the $$ I have saved on expensive wine when I take her out for upscale dinners!).

When I asked her what she wants to do when we celebrate her birthday, she asked me to take her out for live music.  Now what kind of music does a 20-something Vietnamese babe like to listen to? I am literally 3 times her age!  (Didn't want that to sound like a humble brag, but hey if the shoe fits...:P. Fortunately. she told me she likes jazz, R&B, and 80-90's rock - which really helps. I was not looking forward to buying $750x2 tickets for some Taylor Swift-level concert! So now I needed to find a local place with suitable live music. My next problem, most of the small live music acts around here on a Sunday night are in bars - 21 and over bars - and our birthday date is 3 days before her 21st birthday.

Yelp to the rescue!  First I used Yelp to search for "live music on Sunday night." From those results I found a few decent restaurants that feature live jazz music on Sunday.  Problem solved. Now we will have dessert 1st (if you know what I mean) and then get a great dinner with live jazz music after.

Now I just need to find a way to talk her down off the "Daddy I want a new ($3,000) Dior handbag for my birthday" ledge. Maybe a gift certificate for Bloomingdales? LOL.

What about you? What practical resources and techniques have you developed to plan dates for your SB's (that like to go out)?   Sharing is caring.... because...

One of my SBs loves to go out to eat after our BCD time and engage in long heartfelt conversations with me.  Takes no additional planning and is very cost effective.  My other regular SB just loves to go for motorcycle rides with me!  She'll drive 50 miles from her home to mine, boink my brains out, and then we both put on our riding gear (I bought her the jacket, helmet and gloves) and fire up one of my bikes and go for a ride.  I let her choose her favorite bike from my collection in the garage. We usually stop en route for food, or at least ice cream, before she has to return home. So maybe my advice is buy a motorcycle??  Seriously, I've never had the problem of a girl interested in designer handbags.  My SBs have all been more practical minded, at least so far.  Guess I should count my blessings!

You may be on to something, Papa Sweet!

A motorcycle will probably cost less than that Dior bag! LOL

My current like me to take her through the Wendy's drive through on the way home.

As always thanks for sharing your wisdom

When I date college age girls at large universities I have found buying good seats to the big sporting events to be exciting for them. At basketball games especially they usually sit in a rowdy student section with bad seats. For the price of a great bottle of wine I scoop up last min resale tickets on seat geek and get her Courtside. She enjoys the Instagram moment so close to the court and the energy of the arena has her primed and adrenaline going for after the game. It's fun for me to turn heads and see and be scene with her too.

Same goes for theater tickets. Seat geek and the like for last minute tickets she would never buy for herself.

I'm in Vegas next week my previous arrangement there graduate last month and haven't had much luck on the site since diving back in. Admittedly I aim super high in terms of looks. Lots of emails back and forth but so far most are in the low to mid four figures *per date*. Didn't used to be this way in Vegas. Too bad. I'm in it for the long term and they are missing out on a quality, genuine, attractive long term guy.
In Vegas I like the show and concert tickets especially. The shows at 90mins. In and out. More time for fun.

I don't have as much experience in long-term arrangements. I did take one to the beach for a couple of days.
But one was really thrilled when I got her a cute skirt and stockings from one of the Chinese e-commerce sites. Cost me all of $12! Yes I'm a cheapskate but she suggested it because petite sizes work for her.

More than one of my SB's have been into role play. As for me, if she wats to dress up like a (over 18) high school student or a nurse or flight attendant, I'm all in, thank you!

The site I mention has hundreds/thousands of items in size XXS to L or more. Bear in mind these are Chinese sizes, not US. But I have purchased over 3 dozen outfits, swim suits, and lingerie sets along the way. None were priced more than $25 and most are under $10.

Temu and Ali Express are similar and also dirt cheap!

I just looked at Temu for tools.  Very inexpensive!
