STDs from oral sex

Typically whenever i have been with providers, i find it incredibly hard to get them wet. The end result is that experience for her isn't great and I also don't have a good time unless my provider is having fun.

So I am thinking about DATY. However, I don't really enjoy it (the very few times I have done it either on wife or provider) and am petrified of STDs.

I am surprised that most providers have no issues with BJ w/o condoms. So can you or can't you get STDs from oral and if so, why do so many hobbyists and providerrs have no issue with it.

That's right, robby1140,

You can get an STD from oral sex. I would not say, however, that "most providers have no issues with BJ w/o condoms." Perhaps this has been your experience, but there are just as many providers who will not do anything uncovered.

As to "why so many hoobyists and providers have no issue with it" - I believe it comes down to personal risk tolerance. People make personal resolutions as to what they can tolerate and what this means to them. Same for you - it's obviously difficult for you to enjoy oral sex since you are indeed "petrified of STDs."

No one is faulting you for your stance and there is someone for everyone. Please check the reviews in detail - it will be stated if she allows covered BJ or none at all.  If the provider has a difficult time getting wet, then ask her to either lube up herself, or make a sexy move and do it yourself. Grab some lube, squirt some on your fingers and gently - very gently - rub it around her vulva, inner labia, and inside her vagina, including the clitoris....BUT GENTLY please. If she is a kisser, do it while you French each other.

Sounds pretty good and sexy to me,

It took me a while to learn this, but some Astroglide makes it feel SO much better for you and for her...and reduces the risk of the condom breaking, too.  I still sometimes get into a good rhythm and don't notice things are drying up a little, then finally think to pull out and apply some more lube, and then am amazed at how much better it feels once I get going again.

You can get it cheap and without having to get it out of a locked display case at Wal-Mart, or mail-order it discreetly from drugstore.com.

I've tried some other lubricants (water soluable & designed for that purpose) but I have not found anything superior to AstroGlide (my opinion).
I little lube gos a long ways.  Be careful, too much lube can reduce friction to zero!  You need some friction, just enough & in the right places.

Rastro!!!!

Astroglide is great stuff. Very good for everything.

I was having a low level but persistent problem in my 'personal enjoyment' sessions with skin irritations / reactions from hand lotions... I switched to Astroglide and have had zero problems. The problem was really faint red bumps on the head of my unit... again since the switch all cleared up and a happy camper.

I Just thought others may have had similar experiences, I had no Idea what to do about it, but had suspected the lotion. It has been 8 months and no problems.

BUT, make sure you ask before just using it on her... some women(like myself) are allergic to lubricants, and they can cause a nasty reaction:(

what are the odds of getting an STD from oral??, i for one like to give and get oral and i like it uncovered
