and I regretted it.  I was driving to meet a new-to-me SB when she finally replied to my request for confirmation asking about money!  We'd been messaging for about 2 weeks and she never asked before this. I pulled off the highway so I could text her back without crashing the damn car and told her my standard answer which includes an offer of $200.  Then I kept driving.  Remember, it's an hour drive from my home to the city where the pussies dwell.  She texted me back that she expected $500 per visit, so again I got off at the next exit where I texted her sorry, we're too far apart, best of luck.  And turned around and went home. About an hour total drive time spent on an enterprise which was bound to fail.

I ALWAYS discuss money before going to visit a SB, just to make sure we are at least on the same page, if not the same paragraph.  This time I didn't, and I wasted my time and energy.  I know some of the experienced SDs here prefer to wait until they are face to face before discussing money, but my rule is to always broach the subject before I commit to a 100 mile round trip.  I'm not saying my way is better than anyone else's, just that when you find methods that work for you, keep working them!  Don't know why I failed to follow my own rule this time, shoulda known better.
