The rhythms of the SA world are still odd to me. A couple of empirical observations:
"The rent is due" IS a thing on SA.
Tuition coming due is also a major thing.
Student loans are also a thing, although I've encountered less of that than I expected.
And, I'm VERY happy to report

, the hot sorority chick who just wants money to have fun is also a thing!
The other interesting observation is that when SBs have something major looming, that's important and they just don't have the money, they put it off until the last minute. That's so odd to me, but things like rent/tuition that have hard deadlines with major consequences if not met, still get put off until the last 48 hours, or even less. That's so not me that I have a hard time understanding it.
For whatever reasons, and I'm going mostly with tuition right now, it's "feast", more 19-25 year-old SBs than I have time, money (or patience) for. And a month ago it was mostly....silence. I don't live in a major market at all, but the not terribly far away "city" has the flagship campus of the state university....
Anyone else have insights on peak and valley times in the bowl?
