I met this smoking hot SB on SA. I believe she's a UTR provider. Here's why; after trading emails back and forth, I tell her that I'm only interested in PPM right now. She's fine with it. I ask her for her arranged rate and she says she starts at $500. I ask her to clarify, "My previous arrangements have always started at 500". Again, what does "starts" mean?. Does this mean the rate increases for given reasons or is $500 for a certain period of time?

Anyway, I asked if we could do a quick meet-up, maybe take a walk just so I could see her and find out if she's who she says she is. She said she's ready to meet privately-at my home but that she will only meet for the $500. I asked, "what if you're not interested in me?" Her response was: "Even if it’s in a public place I require some type of compensation for my time and energy.. too many flakes in SA . Everything is about taking a chance. Think about it and let me know."

I'm thinking take-a-pass? (But she's really hot).   Thoughts?

If she’s willing to meet you at your place, she’s willing to play.  She’s probably full on pro.  If you have her number you can google it for confirmation.  Or run the well know advertising  sites for her pictures.  If you’re up for a Nickel my bet is you will get some play.  Go for it.

If I was willing to pay $500 I'd simply look for a hot pro. Less uncertainty.  Sure thing.  The "too many flakes on SA" argument does not work for me. I run into women who are flakes or scams too. It's a risk you have to be willing to take when you set up a m&g with a SB. She has to be at least as eager to meet me as I am to meet her, zero obligation or expectation or compensation, on that first coffee date.

In spite of me telling Herb how little I liked his idea of a "facetime" chat first, I think it's the perfect solution to your situation. It's one sure fire way to make sure you aren't getting catfished and spares you the very uncomfortable job of slamming the door in her face if she shows up 20 years older and 40 lbs heavier.

 
One other thing you need to find out. "What exactly does your $500 get?" I wouldn't phrase it exactly like that, but there is nothing wrong with asking "how much time can I expect to spend with you on each date" (the "each date" part of this is important, you want her to believe this is going to be a regular thing if she makes you happy) If she tells you anything to make you believe that once you cum she goes, you might want to rethink her $500 ask as you are now into hooker rates.

 
Sometimes these things work out well, I had a POT SB tell me right out of the gate it would be $400 PLUS wine. (That part intrigued me) I asked her how long I could expect our date to last and she responded "until you get tired of me" We met at her place, not mine, we ended up drinking four bottles of wine, I get there at about 7 PM and didn't leave until about noon the next day, we ended up going four rounds during our date, it might have been five, but after four bottles of wine she passed out on me after going two rounds in the evening, she more than made up for it with two rounds in the morning though. Damn, I need to go see her again, she was fun. lol

 
Alternatively, you might ask her if she is willing to host. If she turns out to be an OTHFB, you can always just turn around and walk out the door, which is MUCH easier than throwing her out of your place which can get kind of messy.
