It seemed like a good idea. Just a nudge to encourage a POT to message me, instead of just viewing and tagging me a favorite.  

 
Background: I had just experienced one of my best A-rotation SB's ghost on me.  And then I had an amazing M&G with a new POT that was even hotter than my lost Latina Sub-Spinner. We met, had a fun convo, agreed to all terms and set up an expectation of meeting early the next week. But....my 3 texts over the next 4 days went unanswered. Ghosted before we even started. Sigh...  

 
So I decided to reactivate my profile again and see if  could recruit 2 new POT's to fill in the rotation and provide additional back up... Now as I've said before, I find I get better results, meaning contacts with a fairly high conversion rate, if I never message first. The number of contacts I get is low, but they are usually more viable than I've ever seen with shot-gunning dozens of message out. In fact there's a recent post here about how that technique yielded a 6% BCD rate (out of 70 contacts). Good for him, but I've never had that level of success from that approach.  Still, I wanted to increase my quality hit rate.  

 
So I had this idea - I added the following as the 1st line of my "About me" section:  

 
"I rarely message 1st. So if you'd like to connect and explore, please let me know."  

 
The results are interesting, though as it's only been about a week, I don't really have enough data to make a definitive conclusion. I received not only more 1st messages from POT SB's, but more favorites as well. And when I decided to contact those who have viewed and favorited, I saw an increased volume of solid POT's (IOW, less obvious scammers) replying.  What's the POT psychology behind this? I haven't got a fucking clue. But I now have 2 M&G's on Friday - morning with a 22 year old 4'11" Latina spinner who told me the part about her last arrangement she liked the most was how older guys fuck better and know how to please, and afternoon, with a 24 year old, 5'4" Blond who looks hot in her black belly shirt and her yellow thong bikini pics. Both local to me - within 8 miles.  

 
I still have three other ongoing conversations on the site with POT's who say they are sugar noobs.  I'm going slow with these, of course. Always be a gentleman, and always be patient and courteous.
