I have made the resolution not to count them until the data gathering period is over. Results of the study will be posted on the General Discussion board at the end of this year, or the beginning of next by the latest.

Go ahead and commit the 10-15 minutes of time it will take to properly answer the survey.  It also has the side benefit of making you step back and remember/evaluate your experiences in the pay-4-play world.  Not a bad thing at all.

By the way, Love Goddess, are you at all interested in our feedback on the survey?  Things like how we felt about the questions and/or available responses, whether we felt there were any biases exhibited, or whether we felt thought of other possible subjects to touch on?

Obviously you spent an enormous amount of time putting it together and we (or at least I) are no experts.  But I did have some thoughts regarding a few things.

Either way, good luck compiling all the data and doing the analysis.  I guess that's why you get paid the Big Bucks, huh?  ;)

the big bucks; I had to PAY the big bucks to go to school in my old age - no university department was willing to invest in me and then offer me tenure, LOL.

Some have written and offered suggestions on how to improve the questionnaire. There are actually reasons for its particular structure, but I can't really go into them on this board.

In any event, I will share the results with any and all on this board once the dissertation is approved. I'm extremely excited about it. For now, however, I'm very grateful to all who have contributed to this historic research. Rock on, hobbyists!

Actually it's pretty interesting and it only takes ten to fifteen minutes at the most. What better way to find out how we as a group look at these subject matters.

I for one can't wait to see the results. Kuddos to you LG for making a survey such as this available to us.  You rock.
