For quite some time the Splash Page on seeking has been basically useless.  It has been showing me profiles of women who live all over the place, not even remotely near me.  But this evening when I logged on I noticed a change.  Most of the profiles are located roughly within a 400 mile radius of me.  Is that a coincidence?  Have you noticed this as well?

Just did a quick review of my homepage.  I live in Los Angeles, which is admittedly huge.  

 
Of the 1st 100 profiles listed, 25 were out of state (some locations had more than one profile):
Salt Lake City, UT
Denver. CO
Tacoma, WA
Seattle, WA
Las Vegas, NV
Portland, OR
Honolulu, HI
Idaho Falls, ID
Arvada, CO
Phoenix, AZ
Scottsdale, AZ
Northglenn, CO
Henderson, NV
Tijuana, MX
Billings, MT
Hobbs, NM

 
Twenty-six were not in the greater LA area which means at least a 2-4+ hour drive.  

 
Of the rest, perhaps 20 were "local" to me (no more than a 30–45-minute drive).   These are the some of the same profiles I can find using search filters for radius.  

 
The rest were somewhere in the LA area.  

 
So I rarely spend any time reviewing the home page.  I really don't know why Seeking doesn't set the home page to be my filtered search results page.   Do they really think I will spend $300+ to hop on a plane to Arvada, CO just to meet a POT for coffee if I'm not already going there?

I'm also in Los Angeles and have profiles from northern Washington state show up on my landing page. That's like showing a NYC sugar daddy Miami-based profiles. Not relevant, unless you go there often.

I haven't bothered to log in to check this, but...
Many profiles list multiple locations. They come up in your local searches.
So, these women on the login page - are they ones with multiple locations, and you are simply seeing their primary location, which is not local to you, but they do list a location on their profile which is local (or somewhat local)?
(Hope you can follow all that).

Anyone's the first 25.  Most were local, I looked at a few that weren't.  They had a secondary location local to me
