Not something I would normally think about in the middle of a natural crisis like living in the center of 4 wildfires circling the San Fernando Valley... I am safe right now and I don't foresee any issues for my home, so far.  

 
But I just did a round of texts to all of my eight SB's. All of them live within a 20-mile radius and so far, none appear to be impacted by the fires, though at least one is in an Evacuation Warning zone.  

 
I started thinking that I could offer my home as a safe space to an SB who needs to evacuate... but what if there are 2 or more SB's? That could get awkward...  

 
For all our brothers who live in the area, I hope you are safe and remain safe!  I've lived in this area for almost all of my life. I've seen fire, floods, and earthquakes threaten my home and the homes of my family and friends over the last 5 decades. But this is next level shit.

Thank you Herb! It is indeed scary to see these natural disasters all around us. [Not to mention worldwide].  

 
I am not far from downtown LA so I'm pretty safe here, at least it seems so.  

 
So many people have lost their homes so far in the fires, and many more will. There seems to be no safe haven any more anywhere in the world.  

 
Add to this to viral threats, political upheaval and whatever else [asteroids carrying a plague of flesh eating spiders?] well it just makes our short lives that much more challenging.  

 
As for having a safe haven for your  eight [!] SB's, I'd recommend eight soundproof locking chambers!

I don't have power and may not for a bit.  Close to evacuation.  I'm up towards the hills. One of my SBs offered to watch my dog.  I think she comes over for him more than me, lol.

Had to cancel a lunch date today.  Her period started early so timing was perfect.  But now she's asking for nail money.

My main had to evacuate and is staying with her mom.  I may go stay with a close friend I used to date.  Completely platonic now.  

Other SBs are doing ok so far.

Power outages suck.  So frustrating to find out how truly helpless we are without such a basic service. I was lucky when my power went out twice last night as I have a Tesla solar roof and multiple back up batteries.  

 
I still haven't heard from my Blond Porn Star SB who lives near Malibu. She typically does not reply quickly, so I'm not too worried right now.  Just confirmed my date tomorrow with my up-and-coming HipHop girl. She's well away from any danger and I'm thinking of breaking out the leather handcuffs I just used on my newest SB, the 21-year-old ballerina, at her request. Even light BDSM stuff is completely new to me...never really developed any interest. But as long as I already bought the cuffs ($14 on Amazon), might as well experiment.

The winds are forecast to somewhat reduce overnight... so hopefully we've seen the worst and our 1st responders can flip to the offensive in battling these fires.

The reports on the news about the fires out there in Lala land have been terrifying.  Here in Siberia, all is well, all is calm.  But then again, the invading space spiders can be unpredictable.

No safe haven.   Greenland is about to become the next Hawaii.
