I was with a provider recently who moved her legs together during mish as she encouraged me to move my legs to the outside of hers.  Once we settled in to a good rhythm in this position it seemed to enable her to have an orgasm very quickly.

The mish position is not known for being a great position for contact with the clitoris but this slight alternate mish does seem to increase contact.

Is this position widely known?

The mish with her legs together and his outside of hers is not shown in that link.  I'm thinking that it is not a commonly used position but of course I have no idea either.

Too bad they didn't have all of this cool stuff when I was younger and could actually run out of positions before running out of energy.

I know what you're thinking, it screams lack of imagination.  But in my defense, the blood needed for creative thought was already being used elsewhere, and to damn good use, I might add!

but the women are all built differently as are men, so each pairing (or "coupling" if you prefer) is Unique.  

The real question is if it works for a large % of women which I can't answer.  Legs together position variations are tighter for the male, so helpful to get things going/speed things up (or some of us simply NEED that much stimulation).  

This was a favorite of my GF back in the late '60s.
