New profiles on Seeking are a gamble.
Many new profiles appear every day. I've found the hotter the pic in the profile the more likely it's a scammer or someone playing games who won't reply. Conventional wisdom says to avoid new profiles at first, perhaps Favorite them for future prospecting. These 'hot' new profiles often disappear from the site quickly.
[Because they are scammers and have disappeared? Or because they were real and hot and an enterprising SB took them off the market?]
If a new profile with a hot pic has a legitimate looking profile description of what I am looking for and the photos don't seem too obviously fake {i.e. with a 'Beverly Hills' location and her holding a little dog with ribbons and a Gucci bag standing in front of a Rolls Royce}, I'll venture a brief introduction knowing it will likely not be responded to or a scammer will attempt to pull me through the chump funnel.
Why do I bother? Because there is always a possibility in the Seeking lottery that this is a real person, a rare unicorn. If I can get to her before she becomes discouraged by the douche-bags and salt daddies or taken off the market by a true SB, I may capture a rare unicorn.
The odds for success are slim but the cost of the ticket is small.
Have I ever found such a unicorn?
Yes! A beautiful blonde model from the Ukraine. Although it didn't last, and there were drawbacks in the sexual performance department, I enjoyed many fun hours with her astonished at her beauty and wonderful company.
What's a few texts compared to the potential outcome?
It is rare, and you are right. I tell myself all the time, even the girls who have been around for months had a day 1. But it is 1 out of 100 (or more) that are legit, or follow through.
I like you, favorite, and see if still around in a few weeks. 9 times out of 10, they change locations, or disappear.
Sometimes the older profiles pop up that you have never, or seldom seen. These are usually traveling pros who use SA when in town. I usually just ask them “How long in town”? They are usually quite honest.
