This is a difficult discussion to have with only imperfect data available.  

 
But I'll take your reddit poll at face value.  I agree with Papa Sweet, the market will skew these numbers widely.  I can't imagine finding an SB who looks decently hot in Los Angeles for $200 ppm.   I do find an adequate number in the $300-$400 range, but I also regularly get asks for $500+, maybe 65% of the time.  

 
I have also had a mix of SB's who (I believe) stay with me alone for 1-3 years (4.5 was the longest) and others who have a pretty full dance card.  I don't ask, and I don't tell (them).   For those SB's who take sugaring as their primary source of income, a $50-$70k annual take is not unreasonable. But again, most of the SB's I get to the BCD stage do this for supplemental cash; some for unpaid needs like bills, some for wants and desires like clothes and designer crap.  

 
To be sure, there are SD's who can easily afford to drop $300k a year on sugar pussy. I've known a few along the way. One of the 1st I met was my role model back in the late 2000's for how to live this life. He was a very successful lawyer (corp. litigation) and my best guess is he was spending $350k a year on sugar, so his total annual pay must have been north of $1-2 million (he had a wife and 2 teenage kids). But when he had to go on travel for a meeting or a court trial, he would pick out his favorite stripper from an upscale club in LA (4Play for those who know...) and take her with him for a 2-4 day trip.  He'd get fresh sugar after his meetings, and she would get cash and a new pair of Jimmy Chu's (or maybe 3 pairs).  

 
When I really got a good look at what he was doing I knew:  I wanted that!!  

 
So the numbers from reddit are at least plausible. And I expect that those SB's pulling in north of $100k a year are in the top 1-3% of all SB's.

I posted a poll on the reddit forum on what SBs expect to make annually from sugar, and got a lot of flaming for aiming too low, and then the mods took it down since they don't like too much discussion of money.
But the results were this, from 89 responses:

- 10k or less (18)
- 10-20k (21)
- 20-30k (13)
- 30k and up (37)

A bunch of people commented these ranges were far too low, and some even suggested SBs can pull down 100k or more a year. But the numbers speak for themselves and confirm our experiences in general, despite a number of high-end SBs. The median suggests 20-30k annually or 2k a month, so with 4-5 meetings the PPMs (if that's what they're on) are in line with what we see as well.

A couple of thoughts: this is a side hustle for a lot of chicks and they want to have some fun and bring in a bit of green. There are likely a few who use sugaring as their main source of income and they may look to the small segment of UHNWIs. But also take with a grain of salt: This is what they expect, not necessarily what thye pull down, and many may overstate this or have expectations above the reality.

Thanks for doing this research 'Mouche!  My own experience is similar.  One of my SBs is dating once a week, alternating between me and her other regular. She's a working single Mom, so sugar dating is def a fun side gig for her. We give her 200ppm, so her 26 dates/yr would net her $10,400.  This is near the lower end of your findings.   The same level of activity in a bigger city with higher prices would result in significantly more.

I think a $10k "rate" is reasonable, which would be twice a month at $400 session.  But how many SB's get such regular visits over the course of a year?

Smart ones are probably seeing a revolving door of new daddies.  That's the impression I get from seeing the same faces on SA and SB over long time periods.  Also on SA you can see how long they've been on the site.  Many are new but many have been kicking around for several years.
