I am a diabetic with a severe and long-standing case of ED. I have tried Viagra and Levitra with no success. I have not tried injections --- what results have people had with them? I am also considering a penile implant (which is a sure but somewhat radical and risky step). Has anyone had experience with them? What effect will either of these have on providers?
Dear sunsword69, Since I'm not a physician - or a male - I can't really give a subjective answer as to the effects of injections or an implant on your particular anatomy.
As to the effects on providers - none that will affect your interactions. This takes into account that you visit with professional, well-reviewed ladies who have been exposed to just about any situation and condition imaginable. Again, I would probably recommend a slightly more 'mature' lady who understands how medical conditions impact men in the sexual arena. Such a lady will display grace and patience if something doesn't go exactly according to plans, or there are delays.
Penile implants do work. Of course, they're not 'spontaneous,' but the effect is, as mrfisher points out, satisfactory. As to the risks and benefits for you, it is imperative to consult with a very experienced urological surgeon to get good implant results.
As to a vacuum pump: I have seen it in action, and shamefacedly, I have to admit it looks a little 'unusual.' There may not be a continuous 'flow' of action...in the middle of the hot'n'heavy, you may have to stand up, then put your penis into a big tube, and start pumping. It's not a tiny little tool, and it's hard to make that part of the experience 'romantic.'
The injections are pretty much what they seem. They do work - you'll have to check with your doc to see if you are a candidate.
As you can tell from my alias, I have a case of ED, but it appears to be less severe than yours. I have found that Viagra does work, although I do have problems holding the erection, especially with the wife, although with providers as well.
I have tried the shots. They are mechanical, in the sense that properly applied, they force the penis to remain erect. The main problem I found with the shots is that they tend to reduce the pleasure, and over time seem to reduce the ability to have the proper sensations.
I have never tried a penile implant, although there is a Dr. Eid in NYC, whom i have seen, and who claims that he can put them in very quickly and without side effects. I did talk to one of his patients, who assured me that it works well for him. But I have been wary of undergoing the procedure.
I tried injections, once, before the days of ED medication. I found it so difficult, psychologically, to stab my dick, that I realized that it would never work, especially when my penis would shrink so tight in anticipation of being punctured. Ouch!!!
I understant that many companies and/or doctors have you use too large a needle because they want to cover themselves should you hurt yourself. Consequently, an ultrafine needle should suffice and cause much less discomfort. Have you looked into that?
