So, in order to persuade escorts not to engage in sex for pay, they require that they be licensed, so that by threat of losing same, they will obey the law. The same rational is used to license massage therapists. Something tells me though that it doesn't exactly work that way, but what else is new?

I doubt that it is true unless she did it for a brief time to bridge between her financial problems.
Lauren Boebert is definitely easy on the eyes, but she is BSC; totally irresponsible in all of her business, personal, and political lives; and has a gun fetish to the point of multiple violations of the most basic weapons laws (including bringing weapons onto the Capitol grounds). Whatever her escort "licensing" status means, would you really want to go behind closed doors with an armed nutcase. There are plenty of prettier women available for temporary love who are far less likely to turn into mass shooters or otherwise deadly threats.
I hope that the people of SW Colorado send her back home so that she can thin the herd back there. If they don't want her, maybe she can be a house treat for Mar-a-Lago visitors.
