I had a girl on SA hit me up and wanted my number, and she was cute, so I oblige.

A little later I get some random texts and cute pics, though nothing racy... I don't recognize her because they don't look that much like anyone I messaged, so before I say anything insulting, I go online to look up the girl I think it is, and her profile is "unavailable" ... before I can ask her about it she texts me her name (the one I was trying to look up) and she says she deleted her profile as all the guys were being rude.

So she wants to meet but can't until Saturday, and tries to hit me up for money because times are hard... she was in an arrangement for a year, and is open to anything... wants to send me pics and vids... of course, I'm not hot on the idea so I kinda give her the brush off.

I have a buddy on SA and we're comparing notes later, and he looks her up and her profile's still there... so I guess she just blocks me, possibly so it makes it more difficult to report her.

She's probably really just some Nigerian or some fat dude in his mom's basement.

...it were that easy:  "she was cute, so I oblige".  Not.  And you're probably right about who and where, which you should have figured out before giving up your number, because now you've become a target.

When I get the first hint of being scammed, I just ignore all future communications. I don't even bother with a "hobby phone" I just don't care and I guess they can tell as they all seem to go away when I ghost them in return.

Most scammers know when they have a "fish on the hook" and they also know when they are wasting there time. Don't act like a fish and they won't bother you once they figure out there is no payday in the future.

So I delight in wasting as much of their time as I can - without ever giving away any additional info.
.
I comment on the pics - "ohhh! nice!"
I ask questions - "where are you today?" "Can I see more?" "that looks like xxxxx" right"? \
I deflect any specific requests for info or cash - "maybe we should talk about that! how about tomorrow?"
I send incomplete messages - "hey do think we c"
I just keep them talking as long as possible, until they ghost me.
.
Mission accomplished.  I can just imagine some a-hole on the other side pulling his hair out when he sees a "really big fish" slip off the hook.

That's the person who is losing the battle.

It's kind of like the old saying "Winners tell jokes, losers say DEAL!!!" lol

I will admit sometimes it's fun rattling the bars on the monkey's cage.

Twice this week, I had girls wanting to immediately go to text - now with the pros, it's a common practice, but with the more vanilla girls, not so.
One said she was getting overwhelmed by messages, the other said it would allow her to concentrate more on our conversations...
Next day - both are showing blocked.
Checking with my alternate account - one blocked me, the other deactivated.
Making a long story short - both were more or less scammers, but yes, it seems this is the new MO so they don't get totally banned by SA.
A few days later, both were back on trolling for the next catch.
LOL

Is when they tell you that they are looking for only ONE SD, and that you are him, but then you while you are checking out other girls you notice that she is "online" 18 hours a day reeling in new guys. lol Blocking you gives the impression that she has stopped looking and that you are her "one and only" lol
