LG,
I'm not sure whether you're the appropriate person or this the proper forum to pose this inquiry to - if I'm mistaken, I apologize.
I live and work in Manhattan in NYC. I am a fan of Korean AMPs and have frequented them often lately. Two separate questions.
1. Do you have any insight into the following? Are Korean AMPs in NYC involved in organized crime, human trafficking or anything else unsavory? I really enjoy these places and would feel terrible if the women there are so, against their free will. I usually over tip at these places as some sort of guilt ridden thing. This inquiry is more because I have been frequenting AMPs often lately and has been an ongoing concern; and less because of the recent publicity around human trafficking.
2. One reason I like AMPs is that I do not require the so called GFE experience, and prefer the safety of everything being covered; I do not do DATY; and I do not kiss. As a result, it's my perception that from that standpoint, AMPs are relatively safe (ie, STD standpoint, all else being equal and in consideration of inherent risks in this endeavor). Moreover, in one experience I had, the woman inserted a female condom in addition to my using one. The women at these AMPs seem pretty health conscious. Is this an accurate perception or am I missing something?
Thank you very much.
I am a big fan of AMP's, including several Korean ones, though not so much in NYC itself although I have been to a few Japanese ones there.
I have had a Korean gal as a favorite for over ten years now. We met at an AMP in Hartford CT. and now she works in another town in CT. We see each other around six times a year and have done many extra day sessions. I've even been to her home and met many of her family members.
Now, of course, I can not speak for all AMP's and the people who work there, but in the case of the gal I know and her associates, there is nothing but a very strong desire to make a few bucks and achieve the American dream while putting a big smile on some guy's face.
I would not be surprised to hear that some AMP's are run with less scruples, but the same is true for pizza parlors too, and we shouldn't penalize a whole industry or nationality because of the actions of a few.
Dear dlee8275,
Your questions are very interesting, however, I believe it would be somewhat irresponsible to provide patent answers, simply because there are no reliable or verifiable statistics supporting any conclusions in the matter. Hence:
1. Your question about "anything else unsavory" is clearly in the eye of the beholder. I would venture to say that the majority of Korean AMPs are NOT involved in human trafficking or organized crime. Having said that, however, there are all sorts of businesses that serve as fronts for criminal activities - but would it be smart to operate a massage parlor as a front for anything illegal? As it is, AMPs are controversial in the minds of the general population; thus, you wouldn't want criminal elements involved with something that already is skirting legality. This doesn't mean that all AMPs are run according to the law, or that there is NEVER any coercion involved. We're talking sex work here and when women are not working 100% independently, it's hard to say if their bosses - be they madams or pimps - are always fair to their employees.
Now, I have made the statement that very upscale madams such as Heidi Fleiss, Sydney Biddle Barrows and even Alex Adams treated their employees with kid gloves, but then we're talking about women who commanded thousands of dollars per encounter and therefore were extremely valuable to their employers. In AMPs, there can be a fairly rapid turnover, and it doesn't matter if it's sex or hamburgers you're selling - if the product is cheap, the workers are usually expendable and enjoy less security and benefits on the job.
Your guilt is a matter between you and your conscience. However, your rationale for what's safe and what isn't is very interesting. Please remember that it's not just the aspect of protection but that statistically, the higher the partner frequency, the higher the risk of something going awry. So rather than meeting with a low volume provider who is very safety conscious, who has the money to frequent top gynecologists and who has access to the best that health care can offer, you'd rather go to a place where zillions of guys have gone before you and done all sorts of things that maybe the AMP ladies cannot and will not explain to you. Remember that you will NEVER KNOW where these women have been or what they've done. They also have a private life and they could be screwing their brains out uncovered with full-on meth users...and you wouldn't know a thing about it. People don't just have sex on the job - they have it off the clock too, with whomever they please.
I'm not a guy, but nevertheless I do have a professional perspective of the sex industry. And it strikes me that you could have a less guilt-inducing and perhaps even safer experience if you frequented someone who is low volume, who offers GFE, but who wouldn't exercise her GFE skills on you and also keep everything covered. A pity to waste all that sensual kissing talent, but at least you could have a meaningful conversation with her and obtain some answers to your questions. And be in a nicer environment, doorman, lovely apartment (if in NYC), no rush, some intimacy, etc. And know that you're not part of some scheme to rake in money for other people, but that the provider gets the full benefit of your patronage. Bottom line, though: if you're highly risk-averse, hobbying may not be for you.
Hope that helps,
the Love Goddess
LG,
Thank you for the insightful answer as well as taking the time to provide it. I appreciate your logical mind and well reasoned, professional response
I've been waiting for this question to show up for a while now. I will elaborate.
I lived in a city where AMP's where quite prevalent (11 years ago, but most are still there). And I would usually frequent them very late at night, on my way home (3 AM etc.), usually drunk. Actually, so much that the madame would tuck me in and let me sleep til I woke up and went home (actually she would fuck me after I had one of her girls). I thought it was great!
Until, one of those mornings I woke up, walked up stairs, went looking for her and found about 10 women on mattresses on the floor sleeping. Or crying. I was HORRIFIED.
I have never, NEVER, EVER gone back to one of those places since then. I'm a libertarian. I believe in people being able to do what they want with their bodies. IF THAT'S WHAT THEY CHOOSE TO DO! This was slavery. Pure and simple. I was sickened that I didn't know...and had contributed to it in a way. This was about 9 years ago. I've never gone back. And never will. Those women didn't have a choice. I do.
Here's the bigger problem. The cops know what's going on there. How do I know? Because I drove by there the other day and a cop car was sitting in front of the place. Probably getting a free blow job.
Maybe I'm old fashioned (!) but I find slavery to be repugnant. Reprehensible and offensive. Prostitution/Escort/CallGirl/etc./whatever the fuck, if performed by a willing adult with another willing adult is not even close to being as morally offensive as that.
Why is it wrong to make someone come? i.e. have pleasure i.e. feel good? WTF! Seems we need more of that in this fucked up world! I want my leaders to get laid, blown whatever. Maybe they wouldn't be so twitchy or stupid! Now I am ranting! Fuck it...I'm posting this..and let the chips fall as they may...

I think the situation can be a little more complicated than the awful one you describe. For example, many workers in AMPS, not just Asian ones, are working long hours in sometimes unpleasant conditions because of circumstances, perhaps to pay for a family illness, education, to start a business, to pay off immigration expenses, etc. They entered of their own free will to pursue their dreams or pay off obligations, so you can't really say they were trafficked or are slaves.
I share your abhorrence of exploitation, abuse, or servitude of any kind, but it's often hard to prove even if you suspect it.
A possible solution is to patronize places that are clean and well run, and where the women appear to enjoy their work, etc. They exist. If you patronize those places, you are not exploiting sex slaves but may be helping a woman pay off her debts and get that much closer to financial independence.
I happen to know many of the KAMPS in NY.
I have never seen any type of slavery or abuse.
What I have personally seen, are a few who are in college, and a few have have beautiful apartments and do well for themselves. Some come and stay for a few years, then move back to their homelands with their savings.
They also send money home to support their families, some of which are impoverished.
I also do not see the organized crime aspect. I see some of them moving from place to place on their own accord. Do they network? Some do, but that does not equate to organized crime.
The trafficking issue is overblown hype by the media and LE. While I am sure it exists, I don't believe it is as common as they want you to think.
As far as feeling guilty, you should not. I feel just the opposite, and my conscious is clear.
As to your last question, the K girls are very clean. Never once have I encountered one who did not practice good hygiene, in well over 75 sessions with them.
Hope this helps.
