Don’t want to use a credit card, PayPal, or pre-paid credit card to join SA. Any ideas on how to pay for membership? Gift cards don’t seem to work unless I got the wrong kind (AMEX)?  
Any thoughts on how to pay for membership without using your real name or a card tied back to your Ssn?

If you have the mobile app you can do it as an in-app purchase.  You could even buy an iTunes or PlayStore gift card separately to add the balance needed so the store never had to charge whatever credit card you had on file.  Obviously not the best option if you share iTunes with a SO.

Bought it at a local grocery store and when I registered used a fictitious address and got right on.
