Seeing a hooker requires virtually ZERO work and sometimes that's exactly what I want. I have a lifetime membership with P 411 and I get an occasional new "okay" just to make sure that screening remains a breeze.  

 
I think I see about 80-90% SB's and 10-20% hookers and although I hate to admit to it, I see next to no civvies any more. I would guess in a typical week I will see SB's 3-4 times, and I probably see a hooker once every week or two. It's rare that I see more than one hooker a week and equally as rare that I go more than two weeks without seeing a pro.  

 
I don't know how the agency scene is in your city, but I find they are great when you find yourself in the position you currently find yourself in.

Prior to Seeking, I was all in with escorts.  Had a great reputation and references and enjoyed many tipsy afternoons with local favorites or visiting superstars.  However, with the birth of the Bowl, I've gone exclusively SB's.  The pro's and con's of that strategy have been the subject of many threads.  

My point is.....#1 is away, #2 has a visit from Aunt Flo and #3 is flaky not returning my texts messages.  I have 5 hours of free time between AM and late afternoon meeting with no options.  

Would be great to call on the local talent to fill my needs. Been out of that game for so long....but missing it tomorrow.

15 years ago, had a list of hookers that were essentially "on-call".  Would make some calls in the AM, and by late afternoon would be in between some lovely thighs.  Fond memories of good times.  But I've been out of the hooker game for a long time, never had P 411, don't have the bandwidth to re-establish references and absolutely refuse to divulge information required for screening.  

So yes, having access to quality hookers in a pinch would be great, but probably not going to happen.

Can't say there's not a day where a semi-pro pops doesn't up.  Easy to spot with the (usually) prodigious professional photos.  Not exactly sure if it's an advantage for you, but does present another option.

If you have no understandings with any of the SBs on exclusivity (if there is a #3, I am guessing that it is so), normal pros are fine, but remember whatever hassle or drama got you into the bowl.
