Went to see a new favorite for our second BCD meeting (which was spectacularly wonderful), and, after once at a hotel, she said "We can use my place". But, on the day of, on the way to her bedroom in the townhouse she shares, as I entered, there are (1) her roommate, (2) roommate's sister, (3) a guy asleep on the couch.
After the fireworks in private, darling SB tells me that the guy asleep is roommate's sisters husband, who, "Oh, by the way, did I mention that he's a State Police Officer", and I replied, "Why, no, honey, I don't believe you mentioned that!". Oh, she continues, "Yah, my roommate was freaking out that you might be an undercover cop, so we showed "officer's name" your profile and pics, and he said you look okay, and definitely not a cop." And I replied, "Oh, you know, sweetness, I don't think you ever mentioned that either!"
On the way out or her place the State Police guy is now awake, so I walked over, shook his hand and say "Hi, Officer, I'm "my real first name". I didn't say Officer, I called him by his first name and I gave my real first name, and it all just seemed like no big deal.
This experience just seemed...a little odd....but not threatening, because I'd been with this SB before BCD, and because no laws were being broken; it was just a couple of adults having fun.
Like I say, I may be getting a bit too comfortable with all this...
And I intend to see her again...
