I know we discuss SB/SD stuff here but lately I’ve been taking a break from SA. During the break, I’ve been checking out potential escorts to see, but have noticed a trend for some of the ad to say no GV or other VOIP calls. The argument is that it’s for their safety. I get the idea but it’s a huge red flag for me. I use GV in my sugar escapades so I have no desire to go get a track phone to get a real number just for the occasional escort.

GV means Google Voice.
VOIP is voice over internet protocol.

Thank you sir.
Funny, I don't have time for crap like this.
I give them my number, expect their's, otherwise arrivederci baby!

A SD friend of mine always insisted on the benefits of using a burner app.  But he was hiding activities from his wife, and that's not an issue for me.  I just use my real phone number and have never had a problem. OK maybe not never.  A few years ago a BSC SB kept texting me demanding money and making threats.  No big deal I ignored her and she disappeared.

I use it both to book hookers, and to communicate with SBs, It's also my business phone. Like you I have never had an issue, except for the occasional BSC hooker or SB who starts blowing up my phone, in which case I simply ignore/block the number and they eventually give up and go away.

Like you I am not trying to hide my activities from anyone, if I were I might have a different attitude about using some kind of burner phone, but to be completely candid here, I simply can't imagine living my life as a lie and lying every single day to the person that I claim to love over all others. I honestly don't know how other guys do it, but I try my best not to judge.

I just posted a new thread about a scam .  One thing I forgot to mention was that the scammer addressed me by my real name, first and last, even though I had never revealed it.  I was using my real phone number, so maybe he did a reverse number search to find out my actual identity.  It shook me up and made me reconsider my previously casual policy.  However I still probably won't use a burner app.  The problem with them is once you burn the number, everything associated with it is burned, gone.  So if you use a burner number for sweet conversations with your lady friends and then have to burn it due to a scammer, you lose all your texts and conversations.  I guess if you were truly paranoid you could use a different burner number for each lady, but that's way too much trouble.  Still, I now am a bit more aware of the risks when I give out my real number.

Completely understand your position. My marriage suffers from no sex, but she is a good friend and a good mother to our kids. My work allows me to dabble in mongering and sugar due to the amount of time away. I use GV now and use to use a Burner app up until recently just to keep shit separate.

The burner app I use to use allowed you to keep a transcript of your conversations and would make a copy of an photos, so you would not lose the info if you burned the number. I know because I did that a couple of times.
