...to get back to the OP's post, yes, I have noticed that quite often. If you subtract the number of years a SB has been a member from her current age, she must have been underage when she started or else the site is not automatically adding one year to her stated age every time her birthday rolls around. I think it's very inconsistent, sometimes they add a year each year sometimes they don't. But I actually met 2 young SBs who's stated age was 18 who were quite frank about telling me they'd been sugar dating since they were 16 or 17. Of course I checked their IDs before getting intimate, and so should you. That's one sort of trouble nobody wants!
As a side note, it's kind of odd that while SA admin tries to avoid legal trouble by insisting we do not promote escorting or prostitution, they seem surprising unconcerned about verifying the age of the younger SBs.

I'm guessing they don't do anything to anybody unless someone makes a complaint. Then they have to act on it. They don't make money making it hard for buyers and sellers to exist on their marketplace. But they gotta look like they are enforcing the law, so they trigger on complaints. They don't go looking for trouble.
In my limited experience, two out of three young SB I had drinks with were underage (less than 21), but both had passable fake IDs. In one case we had to go to a more upscale part of the town because the servers near the college knew the IDs were bogus.

Agreed. Generally, the onus is on you to make sure you’re not getting involved with someone underage. In fact, I can’t think of one instance where “She lied to me about her age” actually worked. So my advice would be, if she appears to be too young, err on the side of caution. It’s just not worth the bad outcome.
