My apologies if others have made this observation in the past.
On the POTs profiles, whether you're looking at them in the Search list, or looking at their profile, or looking at their names in a message list, all have a little bubble that shows how long it's been since they'd logged into the site.
Every POT but one, where I'd sent the first message (because, they're molten hot), but I'd received no response, did not display any information on the last time they'd logged in.
So, if you're looking at POTs on SD/SB, and are unable to find any reference associated with their name/profile, as to how long it's been since they'd logged in, proceed at your own risk.
On Seeking (not sure about other sites) a user has several profile settings that they can configure. One of them is to hide last login date. You have the same settings available to you as a POT SD.
You can sometimes guestimate the date if they come up in your search results by sorting by "Recently Active." Then look at the last login for the profile before and after your POT. She was online somewhere between those two profiles.
If you are looking at a profile from the Seeking landing page, create a new search using her data for age, height, location, body type, etc.

On SD (and I assume SB), I'm able to "Browse Secretly", which seems to allow me to search for profiles, while my profile remains hidden. As opposed to "Hide Profile", which hides your profile but also eliminates the ability to search for POTs.
I'm not so concerned about how long it's been since they logged in. And, I can get to their profiles if I need to from my "Sent" messages list. I only mention it because it seemed like a pattern. Now, maybe the hot POTs joined, compiled a list of qualified Daddies and then never logged in again. It just seemed like an odd coincidence. Every POT that contacted me first, has their last login information displayed. Just sayin'
You don't see the login date SBs with a premium account but you can tell if they are in a list. You may see if they are online.
What I do is create a group of favorites (even if I'm not sure about contacting them) and then sort by "last active" and you can see pretty much when they logged in.
It doesn't make a lot of sense to message the ones who are not active. They presumably have stopped looking for one reason or another, or are taking a break, and if they are hot yours will be one of dozens in a pile. But this approach an be useful for finding the hot ones who disappear for a while and then pop back up.
I only have used two, Seeking and Secret Benefits. In both cases in the search pages, they are listed in reverse order of time of activity.
