Have you done the usual?

1. Clear your browser cache
2. Use a different browser
3. Delete a saved search and create a new as a replacement

For at least a couple of weeks now there's been a new glitch on the SA Search Engine.  Now, when you change the distance setting during a search, it applies that change to all your saved searches.  Kinda defeats the whole purpose of saving searches. This can't possibly be an intentional change, can it?

no on one.

no on two.

yes on three.

The problem persists on both my laptop and desktop, both are PCs running Windows browsing with Firefox. I'll try your suggestions!

I switched browsers from Firefox to MS Edge, logged in to SA and have exactly the same problem.  Then I changed setting to NOT store cookies and cache when I close the browser.  I closed it, opened it, logged  back in, same problem.  Whats weird is that you don't have the same problem.

In fact, I don't have this problem with any of the browsers I use (Edge, Firefox, and Chrome).

Nor do I see it with any of my alt profiles.

Weird indeed!
