I've had enough M&G's and even 1st Dinner/BCD dates with these to start to think of this as a yellow flag.  Too many vegan/vegetarian POT's have ended up being a little too close to BSC (Bat Shit crazy) for me.  

 
AND, too may of them don't drink. I don't mind non-drinkers very much in general, as long as they don't get preachy about alcohol. I only drink (wine, scotch, maybe a vodka martini before a nice dinner) once or twice a month, and I don't like to drink alone. But I just love to bring hot dates to an upscale steak house for a great meal and a good bottle of red.  So add vegan + no booze and you're right next door to BSC.  

 
I guess vegetarians just don't align with my hedonistic perspective on life...

both drink in moderation, and both are just BSC enough to be loads of fun.

 
The vegan is a wee bit preachy, she doesn't even like it when I wear a leather jacket, but I can live with that.

I hear ya, Cat. But this very night I asked (via DM) a hot little 23yo east coast cutie who advertised herself as vegan:

Me: "So what would you do if a debonair sugar daddy invited you to one of the top steakhouses in town?"
Vegan cutie: "I'd eat all your sides."

I gave her points for that one, and built from there. :)

Eccentric about the word in a liberal Greenpeace sort of way. But she’s not BSC and makes me a better person.  

The carnivores are just as likely to be BSC!
