I get a lot of "favorited" on SA from chicks far away, including overseas.  I just ignore them.  But the other day I also got a private message from a chick whose location said Ottawa.  She claimed to be visiting my city soon, maybe to get a job. Well, okay, we started chatting.  She asked a lot of school girl questions, but sometimes flirted about sex. Her English got progressively worse.  It was clear, however, that her timezone was probably China east coast, not Ottawa.  I figured if she was coming to my city, she'd have to be from Taiwan, a visa waiver country.  Even then the job part wasn't happening.  Then she started egging me on to a site called babemeet.  She said it had easy translation service.  I think babemeet is pay service.  I told her just use google translate.  She said google is banned in China.  Okay, she must be in mainland China.  Ain't no way she is getting a visa to come to the USA as a single female.  I think she must be some sort of rainmaker for babemeet.  She maybe gets a commission or something???   She says she's about to buy airplane tickets to come to my city.  Ya sure.  Ha ha.   Poor girl, worked so many days for that commission that she won't get.  Sort of feel sorry for her.

How much total time do you think she spent trying to recruit you? Over a period of several days maybe 20-30 total minutes at most???

There are hundreds, most likely thousands of girls (?) working these boards every day, all of them working multiple leads (marks) simultaneously. Yes, she is undoubtedly a scammer who tried, unsuccessfully to rope you in, but lets assume she really is in the PRC, how much do you think her time is really worth in the first place?

I think most of us get "favorited" several times a day, every day from POT SB's from several different continents. I treat them just like the rest of the spam I find in my inbox everyday, once I recognize it's a scam I send it to my trash bin without a second thought. The biggest mistake most guys (and girls) on SA make is thinking about these would be scammers as real people. Scammers on SA are no different from Nigerian Princes, there is really no need to think of them as real people. Most likely the 23 year old hottie you "think" you were talking to is either a 13 year old boy or a 65 year old woman. I know you recognize that you recognize an attempt to scam you when you see it, but please keep in mind these scammers know this is a "numbers game" the same as we do.

I just feel sorry for anyone, man, woman, or child, who has to scrape so hard to earn a few pennies.

One early scam clue was that she immediately suggested going to email.  That can be for a valid reason, especially if she is seeking ppm which is prohibited on SA.   Or it can mean (s)he expects to get banned rather quickly.

You can't really tell anything by their sign up date, since so many girls are literally popping up on their first day.  In this case I recall she'd been on for at least a week.

I did just check my past inbox and indeed she has completely disappeared.  I think that indicates a banning.  Since many women go offline or even block, but inbox stuff stays forever.

There are two SB's in particular from two different, very small cities in OK that I see with brand new profiles on SA on at least a monthly basis. One of them I reached out to when I first joined SA, almost three years ago and sure enough she hit me up for "rent" before meeting and when I refused to send any money she switched to offering to come see me free of charge "if" of course I could only send her some gas money first. I don't even remember what kind of scam the other one tried to run on me, but suffice it to say we never met either.

Since then, about once a month I see a brand new profile from one or both of these small cities in Oklahoma that are almost a carbon copy of the one that preceded it. I guess they must be finding new "victims" to make it worth their while and I can only imagine how many other small cities they are running ad's/profiles in.

So yes, I do agree that a new profile is no guarantee of a new girl, but I still sort for new girls because there really are literally thousands of new POT SB's signing up every single day.
