I'm noticing a marked increase in fake profiles on SA in recent weeks/months. These are pretty easy to spot. The pics are often of models far more attractive than the average profiles I've met of women actively sugaring. The bogus ones are almost always profiles with a lot of pics in them, [10 photos average] showing the 'POT' in various exotic locations wearing a wide selection of various high end attire.  

 
These are typically locations such as high end hotels, glitzy glamour shots, travel locations in Europe, poses in front of designer jewelry/bag shops, all taken by pro photographers. You'll see 'her' in a variety of locations too varied to be true. She's on a yacht sipping champagne, on a beach in the French Riviera or walking through the lobby of a high end casino surrounded by gold and marble statuary.  

 
The actual profile descriptions vary greatly, but almost always aimed at 'classy gentlemen that want to invest in me' or some other high-end experience that are not reflective of the average girl who seeks a sugar man to date. It's all designed to find some rich whale to bag and hang out to dry. [Which ironically aren't likely to be on Seeking anyway]    

 
Some of these are  tagged 'ID checked' 'Background checked' etc, but most are not tagged as such. I've reached out to many of these, they either don't reply or they reply and ask for a phone # right away because 'I don't get on here much,' though many are on there every day. Generally the texts stop once you are offline and texting via cell phone, as soon as you get their one or two-word reply to confirm your number is real they ghost.  

 
I'm seeing less 'real' profiles, or at least profiles of reasonably or very attractive women that appear to be real that have believable photos, meaning usually selfie style photos taken by themselves.  

 
The rest are obviously pros looking for johns, some better disguised than others but their replies are often of the 'busy tonight?' variety.  

 
I'm finding no POTS that appear to be searching for a vanilla or serious dating relationship.  

 
I'm still assembling data for my year end analysis, but thus far my averages appear to be consistent with last year's, which was approx 1 successful BCD out of every 50 reach outs. [2 out of 100 batting average]. I will say the quality of SB for me has increased somewhat from a 6.5 to a 7.5 in looks, attitude and performance, but that may be because I've focused my efforts on better looking POTS.  

 
It's not getting any easier. This past week had three more POTS flake on dates same day as M&G.        

My experiences with these fake profiles are the same as yours, BR48, but very different in numbers.  Maybe it's because you live in a big city with lots of men who the scammers think are rich and make good targets.  In my location, the numbers are much, ,much lower, so the scammers don't think they have a target rich environment.  I just looked at my search results and scrolled all the way down to profiles active in the last week.  I found only 1 I would bet is a scammer of the type you mention:  I.E. too good looking to be real, professional photos in exotic unrealistic locations, etc.  But that's only 150 profiles active here in the past 7 days!  I suspect where you live it would be many times more, to see how many were active in the past 7 days.  And your "fake" results might be much higher that 1 out of 150.  If so, I guess it's another reason why living here in Pussy Siberia ain't such a bad thing.  The other 149 profiles I scrolled past are genuine local women, who fit my search parameters.  Some are gold diggers and scammers of a different sort.  But most are awesome local women looking for something real. Not fake profiles.

Absolutely, Papa Sweet! Los Angeles is one of the busiest markets in the world for sugar so it has the most [best and worst] of everything. Scammers are out in full force here, but it's also a very good place to be an SD if you are willing to put in the work and have the persistence and fortitude of an Olympic athlete. Plus, the higher in quality one shoots for the more difficult the road, as it is in all of life.
