I use coconut oil…put a solidified form in a little screw-top container and have it in my SB Go Bag. Has a low melting point but smells good, is edible, and even has anti-bacterial properties. Not sure if I would use it as a lubricant for intercourse (although I have)…but for massages it’s pretty good, and pretty cheap.

Not a big user of lotions or massage oils but now considering trying some coconut oil... thanks for the tip.

 
As for lube, I've been to hell and back finding one that seems to work AND doesn't irritate sensitive skin in and around the vagina.  I used to keep 3 types on hand (2 water based, 1 silicone based) and had to keep track of which lubes each SB preferred. Water based is more "natural" but may not last long. Silicon based can stain sheets and tends to turn sticky rather than slippery.  

 
And form factor is a serious consideration as well.  Twist off cap - the bottle can tip over and spill on your sheets. Pump top - needs to be on a hard enough surface to use. Container too big - difficult to use one-handed. Scented - all kinds of issues with scent.  

 
And as mentioned, some can irritate sensitive skin.  I think over the last 6 years I have tried over 10 brands.  My current choice is the best I've found so far. It is neutral PH-balanced to closely match human chemistry. It comes in a hand-sized tube with a flip cap so easy to use one-handed. And it's reasonably thick while in the tube so you can drop the open container on your bed without fear it will leak/spill out on your sheets.  Coconut-oil scent is very light (unscented version available), and the cost is reasonable (I buy the 2-pack on Amazon). Been using for most of this year and have heard positive feedback. Link to Amazon below.
