I've read a number of you commenting on that you require both you and the SB to show test results before BCD.  I'm curious how that works.

1) Do you offer to pay for her test or just require she provide the results?

2) Does that mean you're not using a condom or are you still using protection but just want to know she is safe for DATY, etc?

3) For those of you who are  married, how and where do you get tested where it doesn't come back to haunt you?

4) Besides your or her place, an RV, AirBnB or a hotel, have you found places to have sex where you can meet up on short notice?  I read about people renting a storage unit and then using it for a rendezvous because it's cheap and private.  Just wondering if any of you are using non-traditional places to get it on?  LOL

I should get tested, especially playing in the SB garden. Pros are less of a risk. I just never find the time. I always fuck covered to avoid the disease known as bastard child.

I will also agree that "well reviewed TER providers" are probably the least risky where it comes to STD's, back when there was such a thing of course.

 
I know the woman I felt the safest going bareback ever in my life with was a hooker GF who worked at one of the legal brothels in Nevada. Those girls are tested more than lab rats. She'd work two to three weeks at a time and then take a week or two off, quite frankly it was her taking a risk with me a LOT more than I was taking a risk with her.

First, I get tested at least once a month, regardless of when I last had sex or when I expect to have sex in the future. I never want to be more than 30 days out from a recent test.

Next, I always insist on seeing her recent (within the last 15 days) test before I agree to BCD, whether we are going raw dog or not. If she doesn't have a recent test (or isn't willing to share results with me) I offer to take her to my lab and pay for her test. Fortunately, I have never seen an SB's test be anything other than all negative. The need for mutual testing is an absolute deal breaker for me.  Beyond the obvious safety issue, there are multiple psychological benefits to this that help the negotiation process. If I value a clean test more than an arrangement, she may tend to feel that I am:  

1. Lower risk than some asshole who does not get tested.
2. Mature enough to be a serious Daddy. I don't let easy pussy distract me from safety.
3. Truly concerned for her safety, thereby reinforcing the "Daddy looks out for my best interests" BS concept.  
4. Willing to go the extra distance needed to establish trust.  

Finally,  I hate condoms.  If I believed in god, I'd say condoms are his punishment for wanted to fuck every hottie on the planet (if only there was enough time and sugar!). So yes, I require BBBJ and BBFS in all ongoing arrangements, once mutual testing has been done. Note: This may still leave the issue of birth control. I have had more than one SB (2 in my current rotation) who claim non-cost-related issues with birth control (hormone sensitivity, allergies, etc.) and tell me they cannot use the pill, a sponge, a shot, or an implant. Even when I have offered to pay for the medical costs - appointments, treatments, prescriptions. This requires some trade-off thinking on my part:  Is she worth it if I have to pull out?  Sometimes yes, sometimes, no. Could she be lying just to make sure we use condoms? Sure. But I'll generally see those arrangements fail fast anyway.  

Note: if you are partnering with porn stars (Hey, it's LA!), then as a general rule, they are much more receptive to mutual testing (and most actually insist on it) and by extension, going bare. It doesn't hurt that I use the same national Lab service that 80% of the porn industry uses. So reading my test report and knowing it's not a fake or altered document is easy for them.  

I am not married and I have full health coverage. But I do not get STD tests at my regular HC provider - they just take too long (versus overnight from my preferred lab) and it's too much hassle to get the actual test results (requires that the doctor make a special request to have results viewable to me, or they just don't post it on my patient web portal). I pay $155 for a full panel at my lab - free from my HC provider. Absolutely worth the extra cash.  

As for locations, again, not married and live alone in a house. But I keep several hotel booking apps on my phone if I need a place when more than 60 minutes from home.  There are some new apps that specialize in day-rate rooms (maybe 30-60% off full day rates) at 3+ star locations. Check them out.

Just to add to what HerbC described, while the Talent Testing Service STD panel is probably the best, it is typically only available to porn stars (you need a recognized agent) and is not 'all inclusive.'  For example: it does not test for herpes or hep B.  Other labs typically offer panels which may/may not be all inclusive, so it's best to carefully compare the content.

Another twist to the testing: be aware that many of the STDs have long incubation times, e.g., 1-3 months, so if the girl was exposed, say a couple of weeks ago to one of them, she may well test negative.

is HealthOneLabs.com.  You don't need to see a doctor first.  You just order and pay for the test online, and then tell them which lab service (I use Quest for convenience - close to my office, and they take appointments over walk-ins) to send the order to, then make your appointment with the lab.  Its all done online.  You get the results emailed to you within 24-48 hours in PDF format so you can print up as many copies as you need (Lol).  Its probably not the cheapest service out there, but for me, convenience and speed are more important than saving a few bucks.  

 
As most do here, I do BBFS with SB's and a few hookers that I have known for years and trust their judgment.  They tend to be the hottest, most in demand ladies, usually fully booked each day, and are therefore not so desperate that they need to offer BBFS to every swinging dick that walks through the door.  Still, like Herb, I'm in LA and not naïve about the risks I'm taking even with the limited number of ladies I'm going bare with.  

 
I do a few things to minimize my chances of catching something, and in eleven years, have only had one STD, which was chlamydia.  I got antibiotics right away and put myself on the "bench" until I was cured.  it was a minor inconvenience, and not something that is life-changing.  

 
First, I don't see different girls on consecutive days unless I'm using condoms.  HIV is almost non-existent now in LA among working girls, and when you hear of an occasional infection, it is usually in the streetwalker segment of the business, which I have never patronized,  so I don't worry about that much.  

 
What does concern me is genital Herpes.  Even though it can be treated and controlled, I don't want to catch it.  I'm not a doctor, but I will be eternally grateful to a fellow hobby bro, who is also a doctor.  He got me started on Valtrex (an anti-viral used to control and treat Herpes AFTER you have it), but he taught me its is also effective as a prophylactic to PREVENT infection.  Its not 100% percent effective, few drugs are, but using this drug as a prophylactic will reduce your likelihood of infection by 90% of what it is using nothing, according to this doctor.  You won't find much about this preventative use of Valtrex in medical literature.  My regular doctor had not heard about using it this way, but it appears to work.  There may be some side-effects for some, but in six years, I haven't noticed any.  I take one tab in the morning before engaging in BB sex and then one in the evening.  I know I was exposed at least once five years ago because three of my friends got HSV2 from the same girl.  I saw her the same week, but was not infected.  The only foreseeable problem is that, if you don't know a doctor that you can explain your whore-mongering to in order to get a prescription started, you may have either difficulty or embarrassment in trying to get it.  Even so, in my  opinion, its worth whatever you have to do to get this added layer of protection.  This is an anti-viral, and will NOT protect you from bacterial infections, but the fact that your body can become immune to antibiotics from overuse, I don't recommend the same strategy with bacterial STD's.  

Lester's who never finds the time and Herb who tests every month. I get tested a couple times a year, a frequency my pcp believes is adequate given that I always use condoms.  Yes I hate them, but I am sorta used to them by now.  I did use Talent Testing Service in the past and had no problem booking online with them, without having an industry connection or an agent.  Has that changed?  Now I just let my pcp order the tests and my insurance pays for it.

I always have the "safe sex" conversation with a new SB.  I always offer them a printout of my most recent test results, which are always clean.  They are always impressed by this concern for my health as well as hers and it goes a long way to establishing trust.  Since every SB I've ever met has multiple SDs, I would not consider going BB unless it was an exclusive-to-me arrangement, and even then it would be risky.

I'm married but my wife approves of my activities so there's no need for me to try and hide the testing.

I get tested for everything EXCEPT herpes.  My pcp recommends against it.  The test has many false positives, which will have you worrying for nothing.  Plus he says that Herpes type 1 and type 2 are now known to both cause either cold sores or genital sores. Therefore anyone sexually active is pretty much assured of becoming exposed from time to time.  the advice about using Valtrex prophylacticly is interesting though and I will ask my pcp about that.

Your info on TTS requiring patients to have an agent may be out of date. I do not have an agent and tell the lab tech when I check-in that I do not want my results posted on the "PASS" system (used in the industry to allow sharing of results within the system, since doing so is the basis of trust between performers).  

I have also brought two new SB's to the lab for testing, once they registered online.  The staff has casually told me that they have a regular but small % of clients who are not in the Porn industry.  

I also request the "Gold Standard Panel" of tests, which does not include herpes or hep b as mentioned. But I get tested for those as part of my twice a year check ups with my PCP.

The majority of their clients are in the industry. At the location I use, it's not uncommon to see one or two young women there - some well known, some perhaps brand new - all super hot.  Of course they are dressed as civilians and the etiquette is to be chill and NOT STARE (or drool!) at them.  

On further reflection, I may have done one thing I did not need to when I signed up. There is a field on the web form for "Stage Name."  I put something in there because I thought it was a required field. But the two SB's I have had sign up did not populate that field.

You may be right - last time I used them was a year or so ago when I was dating a well-known porn star.  The registration menu had a pull-down for agent and I just used hers. But it may be that was more for the secure reporting of results.  And, never tried just showing up in person and asking for testing.
