At least that's been my experience. As the first of this month approached I saw a marked increase in the nu,mber of SBs in my area. And one of the SBs who I dated 2 years ago actually texted me asking for $ to help with rent.  Times are tough out there. In some ways it makes things easier for a SD seeking attention.

It’s always an interesting time but really comes down to how you fish. If your the type that isn’t very selective and doesn’t care, then it’s great that someone just dumped several hundred new fish in the pond. Just makes it easier to catch a bunch more. If your more selective, generally just means you have a lot more screening out to do (or just plain ignoring a number of them). For me, I always see this but it generally hasn’t correlated to a much higher success rate as I’m pretty selective.  It does occasionally reignite someone that I may have lost touch with etc which is always nice.

Fortunate to live in a target rich environment.  The never ending supply of new SB's is amazing and doesn't necessarily correlate with the calendar.  However, I've noticed that many of the new SB's don't last long.  I think it's a combination of unrealistic expectations and getting bombarded with sleazy, creepy men who are rather graphic with their desires.  That is why I try and get in early with decency and charm.

I think "sleazy, creepy men" = honest men.
