Indeed, onexguy,

Yes, absolutely, it's age-related. And, since age-related and health-related issues can [but not always, mind you] go hand in hand, failure to maintain erection can be signs of more deeply rooted chronic conditions. Someone in his 60's has already gone through andropause, meaning your testosterone-levels may have declined sufficiently to impact erectile function. In addition, unless you're at optimum weight and have zero cardiovascular issues, then your erectile function will be affected as well. Go see a qualified physician who specializes in andrology, get a reliable T-count, investigate meds for ED and above all, get your ticker properly checked.

EKG and calcium score are just not enough these days,

Used to be that I could cum pretty much every time that I had sex.  Now I'm in my 60's, healthy, but find that completing is not always predictable.  I've been with a provider on a Monday and then seen another provider say on Thursday.  Not problems on Monday's session, but I was having difficulty finishing on Thursday.  Lost my erection several times.  Is this a function of age or possible other health issues.  My desire is still there, it's just the ability to finish that seems problematic.
thx,

Thanks LG.  Sounds like good advice.  I've always thought of myself as being in good shape but you bring up some areas that quite frankly, I've never given much thought to.  I'll be speaking to my physician about these issues.

Interesting timing on the reply, I just watched a British show today on problems of overweight men and in one segment at the same time they were testing for sleep apnea (something I do have) they were also monitoring night time erections. It appears that this is a good precursor to future more serious cardiovascular problems. So it is definitely something to discuss with your Doctor not only for your sexual performance but to monitor your overall health.

I do have some nerve damage...  but mental focus is a definate must.  I make efforts to have a non-distracting environment.  Minimal background noise (not TV or intrusive music), strret noises, thoughts of bills, etc.  For me, loss of focus = loss of erection.
Second, actual stimulation must be pretty contineous...  a lag while changing position = loss of e.
Then there is the condom.  It must fit tight enough to stay on...  but it must have some lubrication inside and be loose enough to move on the inside.  Not too much lube!  High tech lube can reduce friction to "zero".  Friction is what makes it happen.  No movement = no friction = no sensation.

So these basics are something to review before your MD visit.  I DO recommend discussing this with your doctor...

OK...guys....if you are old or over weight please listen up!!!   Think about it this way....SEX is like sports....you need to be in great shape to play sports and sex is the same way.  Things in your body will work better if you are not over weight....So simple solution.  Hit the gym, shed some fat, and then see your favorite provider and get laid.  You will get hard and blow your load.  Guys, you have to put the work in and get motivated.  Sex is a great motivator and once you meet your goal call a pricey lady for your reward!!!!!  You don't have to work for NASA to figure this out folks.
