I have developed a habit of saving profile pics of each POT I contact.  Starting in 2015, I realized that I was seeing pics reused in new profiles, usually with new profile names and with either all or some of the "old" pics, and perhaps new pics as well.    

 
No, I don't do this to perv the pics, though I've heard more than once that there are "Splenda Daddies" around who are just "pic collectors" who request private access but never message beyond that.  

 
Instead, I find these useful for verifying that I have already talked to a POT in the past. This is a big time-saver for POT's who I know are dead ends, or scammers. I don't have to go back and forth for a half dozen rounds of messages only to remember she's a GPS Queen looking for insane allowance. When I link a "new" profile to an old POT I can then decide how to proceed or not. I now have over 2,400 pics on a secure, encrypted drive. I use the profile name as a file name.  I'm not married or with an SO, so not really concerned about getting caught.

I save profile pictures and I screenshot the profiles. Sometimes I don’t meet with POT SB’s right away and they delete their accounts.  This helps me remember who they are and their basic information for when we meet. I have not infrequently found new profiles of previous encounters.  The screenshots and saved pictures have saved me some grief when the previous encounter wasn’t a good one.  I can always delete the photos and screenshots later.
