Hello gentlemen....life in the bowl has been fun, with the expected number of frustrations. Got stood up for the first time at a meet and greet.  My screening process had been working well...up to that point. We had good communication, she provided the spontaneous screening photo I requested to prove she is real (I go with the "thumbs up" pose). She contacted me on the morning of our initial scheduled date and said she had a conflict for that night...no problem as she suggested the next evening. To me, with the communication the next day confirming (that afternoon), the reschedule was another sign she was real. So, with a 2pm confirmation that we were on, I headed off to our 7pm date. Safe, right? Wrong! I arrived, texted her I was there, and never heard back, and a no show. I am not a believer that "things happen" that could keep people from sending a quick text...short of a tragic accident.  So, I am left wondering. Of course, she was silent the next day on SA, BUT...now she is back.  

On another note...I know why we give thought to our SA profiles...to put ourselves out there in the best light in order to increase our chances of getting laid.  What about the ladies?  I see so many...could not even guess how many, but would not be surprised if it was almost 50% in my area, who mention something like " want adventure and to see the world," "want to travel to exotic destination," "want first class travel for a change," or some version of "I want you to take me on trips."  Just wonder if they know this is fantasy? Do they just see it in other profiles and it has become the norm? My guess...and I could be wrong, is that 90% of the guys on SA are not looking to fulfill these women's dreams of exotic travel.  Maybe it's me, but I like sex, the occasional dinner out, and a general escape with a young, positive, engaging woman. Showing her the world is not on my radar...
