I did too.  I thought someone reported me and they were giving me a warning.

I was wondering if anyone got a message from SA that was a reaffirmation of their policies including the prohibition of offering per meet arrangemenrs?

Yes I just saw that.

I did too.  I thought someone reported me and they were giving me a warning.

I’ll bet everyone did.  I think the key point is they want to stay away from a pay per meet accusation.  It’s smart on their part.

My guess is over 95% are per meet.

They have to have plausible deniability otherwise they are a site facilitating prostitution.  They don't really care if people do ppm, but they can't be seen as allowing it or encouraging it, so they actively discourage it.  Wink wink, they know it drives their business.

Coincidentally some chick the previous day said she was reporting me for offering money for sex.  So I figured that was their reply.  But apparently not.

...they ruin everything!

The more guys start wanting to review these girls and otherwise act like they are hookers, the more pushback we are going to get from SA on the subject.

SA is making MILLIONS of dollars off this site (and others) do you really think they want to get put out of business or worse for "facilitating prostitution"???

My advice for everyone is to get off of SA's message system as quickly as you can, and most definitely before you get into a conversation about "how much?"

and yes, I got the notification too.

It's the goose that lays the golden egg. If they actually chase away ppm, they lose a ton of biz.

Getting off the site is no guarantee that your messaging will not be used against you.

Messaged too much with a POT SB in another city last summer about my visit, and probably more by email than on the site. The volume should have been my red flag that this woman could go BSC. We had dinner, made plans for the next night, and I deactivated my account because I was set. She saw that and assumed, I guess, that the action was directed against her. Got an email that she was going to SA about my illegal offers. SA shortly thereafter notified me that the account was being closed for violations.

It is possible that she sent them screen shots from off site, even. I do not remember the exact wording I used, but seemed that SA had a low bar in deciding to deactivate me.

I might try in the future to do all negotiating and numbers in face to face conversations.

Saw a hot coed last night and agreed to meet on Friday. There was no discussion of money. Feeling like this could work out in a Gambler kind of way, but also expecting to get the question in a text the next couple days.

Hmm.  The chick that said she'd report me for ppm allegedly did it a few days ago.  I haven't seen any response yet from SA.  Time will tell if I get the boot.   I'm not concerned with what I said to her as it was not an offer but more of a statement of my philosophy.  However if they view the many other conversations, they might see some straight ppm offers (several of which were eventually accepted.)

Exactly! The first thing I do is provide them an email address and say that the SA messaging system is not secure and that I feel more comfortable communicating with real email.

This methodology has an unexpected side benefit in that many respond with their email addresses that includes their real name as they do not bother to create a fake email address. In other words, I was able to google them where I find things like their mug shot or their name in the local paper getting busted for drugs of theft.

Of course I politely decline without telling them why when I uncover less than desirable results.

I HAVE seen a few SB posts asking for PPM (and one or two asking not only for PPM, but a specific $ amount PM). I think that’s probably more of the motivation for this than any of us asking for PPM in an e-mail/text exchange.

Of course, my premium membership expired a couple of weeks ago, so that might be why I didn’t get the e-mail...

and agree it's all about plausible deniability.

and SA did nothing.

Didn’t do it for this reason at all, just that she was a rude pro bitch in her texts, so I decided to help her off the site.  Sent them evidence but they did nothing, so yeah, it’s all show.

More specifically I have reported a few POT SBs who were aggressively looking for PPM paid "before" ever meeting, virtually every one of those scammers ended up getting the boot.

Well, now they are telling me it takes at least one other member to report the same bimbo before they take any action.
I have nothing against pros as long as the realize that SA is a “dating” site lol

and by honest, I mean "delivers what's promised" not that I insist that they admit they are hookers.  Some guys "pretend" to be wanting an "arrangement" when all they really want is to get laid, I don't hold that against them. Some women also pretend to be wanting an arrangement as to not get kicked off the site when all they want is to trade sex for money. I try not to judge them too harshly as well. lol

The only ones I have anything against are the ones looking for money in advance of meeting in person. I routinely report those thieves as that is all they are, for all we know they aren't even female and could be some seventy year old Nigerian man, posting away in Lagos.

I would almost never attempt to interfere with someone's income.  I can see bumping scammers, but I wouldn't engage them long enough to be certain who or what they are.

Some chick wanted to sell me pics, also wanted me to send bitcoin to prove I was "serious."  I just laughed.  Really, if any guy falls for that, he deserves the lesson.  She's doing him a favor.

Had me agree to 4 or 5 questions.  No big deal.

I just got booted from SA for "too many" ppm.

Oh well, it was kind of addicting anyway ... I have several SB's that want to repeat -- more than I have budget for.

souls_harbor106 reads

Do you just completely disappear or do they put a warning label on your existing profile?

Cuz I'd like to tell my current SB's that I chose to delist.  ha ha

I don't expect they'll refund the rest of my month (about half left.)  Which makes me wonder what they do when the bounce a guy who has a longer paid term?  Do they keep it all?  Best to be month by month if you are risking ppm talk in that case.

I typically renew six months at a time and I would be pissed to get the boot with several hundred bucks worth of paid membership still left.  I try not to use the actual term PPM, but I am sure every one of us could get kicked off if SA had a mind to do so.

Just start a new profile and pay a month at a time...

SA is changing for the worse and there is more chaff (platonic) that wheat (potential sugar babies) and it's taking way longer to seperate the two.

souls_harbor95 reads

I was aware from previous discussions here that it is as simple as starting a new profile.  I'm just not jumping back in at this time due to the need to reign in my budget.

Boxes so I complied and should be good for awhile.

Same here. I think I might change my the vocabulary I use to request ppm to weekly allowance or try to get off the SA message system quicker.
