just waiting to trip you up.  But you said it: "Dumb on me."  You gotta think with the big head and don't let yourself get into these situations! One rule I always observe is to never let a SB come to my home until I know her pretty well.  And as for the drinking, well, you can't always control what someone else does, but when it's under your own roof, you sorta, kinda are responsible for the results, at least partly.  I learned this tough lesson a few years ago after a SB of mine wrecked her car when she left our date.  After consuming an entire bottle of wine I had provided at her request.  Dumb move on my part.  She was very kind about it, took responsibility for her own actions, never blamed me for it.  But I still felt like shit cuz I knew I'd been enabling her alcoholism.  She got sober and is living a clean and sober life now, which I admire so much.  But still, the bad experiences we sometime have in the bowl are real life lessons!

Made arrangements to meet a mid-20s Latina in Manhattan within 3-4 days. Hours after we set the date by text, she calls. I answer, expecting something urgent. She is asking me why I didn't delete my account. WTF?

 
She said she "sees the green light" that indicates I'm still online. I tell her I stay logged onto the website much of the time, and if she saw the active light it might not mean I'm actively searching. (In reality, I don't know what it means, but even if I am actively searching, so what?) She says she's my sugar baby now and I have no need to keep searching. Keep in mind we hadn't even met and the topic of exclusivity never came up.

 
Before the call ended, I politely told her to trust me that we'd both we happier if I canceled our date, which I did. Can you imagine actually meeting this chick for a date?
