late 30s and up.  I have had zero luck here.  They have always been in a few categories:

1. Disaster.  Their life is so fucked up, I don't even know where to begin explaining it.  Usually such a pain and drama it's not worth keeping up with or just can't commit to anything.
2. Prima donna.  Want an allowance that's ridiculous.  usually the former trophy wife who got curbed for a younger version and hasn't accepted their lives are probably gonna go down hill fast if they don't make changes.
3. Scams.  Don't need to go further on this one.

Not saying I want an older girl, just the handful I've tried have been a waste of time.

I've had the opposite experience, netnoy! I have had little luck with SB's under 39!

I think the extreme case is known as alpha widows -- chicks who were used and dumped by Chads now think they are entitled to only the cream of the crop male.  I think that is your category #2.  Women seldom want to date lower than whatever they had in the past.  So it is kind of a wasted effort if you end up dealing with one of them.

My current #1 is a total unicorn.  As I have posted before, she is 47, slim, fit and could pass for early to mid 30's without a doubt.  When we met, she completely flipped the script and since the first date, she's become the "Sugar Momma" insisting on paying for everything.

It's been several months since we hooked up and she has shown no signs of "disaster", "Prima Donna" and is definitely not a scammer.  Quite the opposite, in fact.

She's married to a guy that doesn't satisfy her, she owns here own business, and fulfills her needs and fantasies with your truly.  We meet twice a week, on average, for BCD dates.  So far, she has taken me on two first class vacations where she has set up golf for me while she goes to her business meetings.  The last trip was to Pelican Hill resort in Newport Beach, CA.  She set up two rounds of golf (with caddie and all), we dined at some of the finest restaurants in Laguna and Newport Beach, and she wouldn't let me pay for a single thing.

The moral of this story is that there are some, although extremely rare, women out there who use SA looking for someone to fulfill whatever it is that they think they want.  I know what I was fortunate to find is so rare that it easily claims "unicorn status", but even at levels well under this particular "arrangement", some older women on the site are worth at least a good vetting.  

Yes, the three types you describe and more the "norm", but I wouldn't give up on the older gals if that's the type you like or are ore comfortable with.  If you are lucky to find a good one, it's well worth the hunt.

I'm confused. A couple times a week on average but you haven't seen her on several months?

I'm sorry that I was not clear.  What I was trying to convey is that we "originally" hooked up several months ago.  We have been seeing each other a couple of times a week, on average, since then.  

I am happy for, yes even envious of yes-yes's sugar mama score. This proves anything is possible, though highly improbable in the bowl. I only wish I could set my SA filter to find one of those sugar mamas who are attractive, sex starved and want to pay for everything. I checked but there is no selection in the filtering tick-boxes for 'Unicorn'.  

My sweet spot is 25 and under. Part of the reason is that I'm a dirty old man and crave the younger ones.  Might as well own it, right?  But I truly have discovered that the younger ones are often more open minded and adventurous, less jaded, more open to allowing me to define the terms.  Occasionally I've met a young one whose fantasy is and always has been making it with a much older man.  So I qualify as their fantasy lover and they qualify as mine.  It's wonderful when interlocking kinks like that happen to meet!  Right now my #1 is a very sweet, slim sexual 23yo Latina.  We've been getting together every other Friday for months now.  She's very sweet to me, and even more importantly, she's super dependable and reliable, something increasingly rare these days.  And she says yes to every bedroom activity I suggest, even ones she's never tried.  Her allowance is a very reasonable 3Bens per date, and I always look forward eagerly to our next visit.  The very few arrangements I've tried with the over 30 SBs have been flaky, too many restrictions, no emotional connection, too much baggage, and not worth the trouble.  I wouldn't turn down a sweet SB over 30, but have yet to find one!

Sweetman, yes there are good ones to be had and at reasonable rates. Rare, yes, but it makes one appreciate it more when and if it happens. I too found a similar one as you did, a younger Latina at same rate you describe. But most of my successes have been older. I am not sure why there is the disparity between the younger/older experiences between us. It could perhaps be a function of our respective areas.  

What would life be like if young beautiful inexpensive SB's simply grew on trees and all one had to do is walk into the backyard and pluck one?

We'd grow accustomed to it and then not appreciate them for the rare beauty they actually are.
