I know life here in Siberia can be cold sometimes, but I've been wondering, just how cold?  I did my normal search on SA this morning which looks for ages 18-36, slim, average or athletic, and within 100 miles of my location.  Then I sorted for Newest profiles.  In the past week, there have been all of 8 new profiles, and none at all within the last 4 days!  Of those 8 only 1 looks attractive and I have favorited her and begun a conversation.  How do those numbers compare to your more civilized search areas?

Just freewheelin' here ... Depending on your location +/-100 miles. How many colleges in your area +/- 100 miles?  ...

Are many POTs usually college students? Do they usually wait for their class schedule to be set before reaching out for extracurricular time commitments? Maybe opportunities will increase after classes are set?

Ran your search criteria for 100 miles from Boston.  The new members from today (9/6/2024) up to an including September 1 was 74.

I have thought of that, and actually done it a bit.  Flew to a city 400 miles away and managed 2 dates with 2 new-to-me SBs!   And drove to a halfway point in a different direction for an overnight with an eager SB.  And now I am corresponding with several who live in a different city 400 miles away.  So I'm def game!  But it sure is nice to have a consistent local girl, and I do have one of those rn! And the girl who drives through this area from time to time just asked me to see her again next Saturday! So life is good. I haven't entered the realm of involuntary celibacy quite yet!
