Been testing this new "feature." I consider it a bug!

I have been exploring this here's what I found:  

 
1. If you keep your weight field hidden, you will not see any POT's weight field (if she has not hidden it). So you have to show yours to see hers, unless she hides it.
2. The weight values you can select are in ranges, Ex: 100-110.  
3. Many of the older profiles (especially inactive ones) are not updated, so no weight is displayed. This makes sense as they won't get updated until she logs in and takes time to do so.
4. I can't imagine that most POT's won't lie by selecting a range one or two under her actual weight.  Time will tell.  
5. The best (but not really good) work around I can find is to filter by height. I now set my standard filter for 5'4" or less. Doesn't eliminate short and stout girls (think Dwarves from Lord of the Rings), but it does keep the "Large and In-Charge" ladies out of my results.  
6. There is no filter setting available in the search page for weight ranges so you can't filter out weights over your preference. Perhaps Seeking will add one?

When I logged on this morning I was greeted by a pop up box asking for my weight and occupation, with a disingenuous message saying how this was an enhancement designed to improve the user's experience. It also said you could hide your weight if you so choose.  When I went back to browsing, sure enough, the "body type" filter was gone!  No more ability to search for only slim, or average, athletic, etc according to one's preferences.  And my search results were now full of extremely overweight women I have zero interest in.  I wish everyone lots of luck, but come on, why force me to see profiles I don't want to see?  And even though the Body Type system was fraught with problems, it sure was better than nothing!  Perhaps eventually, the girls will be required to put their height and weight and we'll be able to filter for it.  For now, it's a mess.  Why does every single change they make on Seeking render the site less useful?

I think it's great.  Often I search for 'curvy' but now those same girls are coming back as 170-180, which fits my hippo definition.   LOL.
I can normally filter out the large ones by looking at their arm size so it's not too much of an inconvenience for me.
Although I fully agree with you that weight should be a filter...so hoping they may add that feature in the future.

Body Type is a preference of mine, since exercise is my lifestyle. NOW, the type I’m seeking becomes buried and hidden in all the other profiles. UGH!

Well, it just saved my ass.
Last week, girl listed: "athletic"
Today its: 5'3"  160-170 lbs!!
Apparently old photos supported athletic.

...evidently you guys are seeing girls profiles with their weight posted.  I haven't seen that, only height, not weight.  Wtf?

It's not mandatory to fill out.  But, just like body type, nothing makes a girl tell the truth.  AI is not checking their pics to see if they are athletic.

This goes back to red flags in photos, if she's only showing face pics ....
