I logged onto SA this morning, on my PC actually, and got the following message in a pop up box.
"Seeking app no longer on iOS App Store
We see you've used our iPhone app in the past. We're sorry to say that Apple recently changed their policy to ban all dating apps that help match beautiful and wealthy people. This means that you can no longer download our app in the App Store, and we can no longer make updates to the app.
If you've already downloaded the app, it should still work for now. However, we will have to entirely discontinue it in the coming weeks.
We know you may much prefer using an app to a mobile browser, but we think you'll find using our mobile website https://www.seeking.com/ is a worthwhile alternative. We've done a lot of work to ensure that the mobile experience is up to our members' standards.
We are working with our legal team to see if we can convince Apple to reconsider their position on the wealthy dating niche. Hopefully you will be able to continue enjoying the SeekingApp experience soon."
It's disturbing to see that Apple is becoming more timid about running afoul of Sesta/Fosta when other authorities are saying that sugar dating is distinctly different from prostitution and is not something that they consider criminal activity. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
