OK, so I did something dumb.....

Last night, while "trimming", I accidentally came a bit too close in a sentitive area (scrotum). It is more like a deep scratch, not a deep cut, and drew very little blood - but is about 1.5" long.
My problem is that I have a date set for sunday night with a provider I have seen before, and I do not know if I should cancel, or give her the option to cancel. I expect that it will look like a "red line" by then (not sure how long it will take to fully heal), but I do not know if this will cause her to have any "oral" issues.
What do you suggest?

Understandable that you are concerned, Gosloforme,

Perhaps a good solution to this would be to let the provider know by Sundary morning. If it looks irritated or "angry," call/email her and let her know that you nicked yourself on Thursday. Ask her if a red scar on your scrotum will bother her. I bet she'll say no and go on with the date. I mean, she's not going to chew on your balls to the point of drawing blood again, is she?

The worry is worse than the wound,

Everyone has nicked their Ding Ding or their Hooha at some point in their life and it sucks that you did it yesterday. Timing is everything.
Give her a courtesy call on Saturday letting her know what happened.
Don't wait until Sunday, because she might be able to book another engagement.
It tells her you respect her time, as you should and she will remember you as the guy who actually gave a shit.
As far as the red line being fully healed and worried about causing her oral issues? What about her causing YOU penile issues with her oral hygiene (or lack thereof)?

I once had a similar issue. I was shaving the jungle and made the mistake of going against the grain. Mistake!! Got an ingrown hair which was REALLY nasty looking. It had basically healed when I had a appointment scheduled, but there was still a red mark from the wound. Advised the lady of the issue in advance and she said no problem. Got to the appointment and it was a non-issue. The main thing IMHO is that it not be an open wound. But then I'm no doctor.

You could just remove the entire sac.  Then you don't have to worry about the nic. :)

a dipliltory but no matter how short a period of time it would screw up the sking for a bit. Now I take a hot show, dry and then apply Trader Joe's shave cream and use a Schick multi bladed rrazor and haven't had a single problem.  Not a machete ??? An ole straight edge razor maybe ?????

OMG, I just died laughing at your response. That made my night.  Funny, although I believe you were being mean.
