I'm an old geezer ( 71 ) and my batting average varies a LOT by the age of pot SB's  
At least 60-70% of 20 somethings flake after committing to a meet
About 30% of 30 somethings do also
Only about 10% of 40 somethings drop out on meeting  
My conclusion is that the younger SB's have more desirable options or are just plain flaky !
I'm interested if other " mature " mongers have similar or different success ratios  with various age groups ?

I've just started dipping my toes in this pond.  It's too much work.  Maybe because I am mid 60's.  Maybe because I don't lie about my net worth or intentions.  Some of these chicks want platonic relationships.  Most really believe some billionaire is going to dot on them and set them up at $10k a month.

I haven't yet seen the benefit of SA over escorts -- who are a known quantity and verified ID (if you do it right.)  

I might be too honest to exploit the SA site.  

Anyhow, because of my small sample size so far, more than 50% flake after making some suggestion (to meet, or to continue over text or give a phone number.)   I haven't noticed an age correlation with flakiness -- yet.

Unlike some guys I don't overstate my income or my net worth (which I don't list at all) because it tends to attract POT SB's with unrealistic expectations just because they think I can afford it. Just because I can afford to overpay doesn't mean I am willing to do so, and I don't want to encourage these girls to "shoot for the moon" with me.

 
I actually spend a LOT of time in the Sugar Bowl and I am having a blast. Yes, some SB's are flaky, but I have rarely had any NCNS or even too many cancelled dates period. Now I have had a lot of POT SB's simply fade away never to be heard from again, but it's rare for me to have one ghost on me after we have confirmed a date and time to meet.

Most SB's profiles are 70-90% bullshit or a " wish list "  to be successful you have to look beyond that and concentrate on YOUR goals and  gently draw them out a bit in correspondence to determine if she's worth perusing.
Sugar dating does require lots more effort than just requesting an appointment with an escort and providing some verification..it's a much more intriquite dance and a game in various ways...either you enjoy that kind of chase and the resulting relationships or you don't 😄

As for age correlations I can't say because I only date women in their teens and early twenties.  I'm always totally open and honest about my marital status (married in an open, poly relationship) , my age (70),  my intentions (sexual intimacy is expected, non-exclusive arrangement), and my financial situation (happy to give them a gift per visit near the lower end of the spectrum).  This year I've corresponded with many dozens of SBs, met a bunch for a coffee date, and wound up in bed with such a wonderful variety of prime young pussy I hardly can count high enough when counting my blessings.

Some of the young women are indeed flaky, but so are older women I'd say.  Some younger women otoh truly have their act together. Very similar to my own experiences. I also live in a pussy desert (and it is an actual desert as well :) , and SA is a godsend. There are literally 2, certainly no more than 4  providers I'd like to see in this area, and the ones I really like are $500-600/hour, because they're in short supply, and they know it. However, on SA, there are MANY lovely young women showing up every week, and they seem to truly appreciate a generous, caring, considerate "mature" gentleman. It is a revelation. And it is usually $200-$300 with these young women, who seem to really appreciate the money and the respect.

As for flakiness, it is highly variable. Only once have I been stood up for a BCD date, although I've also had a couple of very late cancelations on the way to coffee meets, sometimes :( while driving to the coffee meeting.

My experience is that there is a period of a few months while you learn how SA works, and after that it is mostly all goodness, although there are fluctuations, times when it all seems to go wrong. BUT, then there are times when it all goes right!

Tomorrow, I'm meeting a new one for coffee, then BCD with another one, and then another coffee date on Tuesday. It is an interesting process, totally different than TER, but, once you learn the ropes, not really more difficult, although not quite as deterministic.

I have been in the sugar bowl for 9 plus months now. I am 40, fit and handsome (according to most SBs that I have been with). I have had only 2 who no showed for the meet for coffee/lunch. Only one no showed for the actual intimate date after she confirmed at the meet for coffee. I live in Naples, Fl...year around population only 25-30,000, mostly retirees. Ft Myers is about 35 miles away and has about 8-10 times the population but also has a VERY large % retirement community. We experience a LARGE influx of older snowbirds and vacationers during the winter season. When I first joined SA 8 or 9 yrs ago my successful arrangements were almost entirely long distance affairs... there were almost no locals worth chasing. So I filled the inbetween time by seeing escorts touring here and also did some traveling to various M&G's around the country from time to time to enjoy new pussy.
More recently, since SA has vastly grown it's membership among ladies,  most of my successful local SB liaisons have been with ladies from the larger populated Ft Myers...if lived in a larger city or a town with a college perhaps the immediate local sugar bowl would be more bountiful with dependable 20 somethings  ?

I decided to crunch a few numbers to see if they would shed any light on your demographics question.  First I searched my location plus 100 miles and found the total number of SBs, and those 18-30 compared to those 31 and above.  Then I did the same thing for Ft. Meyers plus 100 miles but the results were 10,000 plus; worthless, so I narrowed it to Ft. Meyers plus 50 miles. I arbitrarily chose age 30 as my personal cutoff between young SBs and mature SBs. In my location the ratio of young to mature was 83.1% to 16.9%.  In Ft. Meyers the ration was 77.4% to 22.6%.  So in both locations the number of young SBs is vastly higher than mature SBs,  although the ratio is slightly higher in my location, probably due to the colleges and university here.   My anecdotal evidence differs from yours, ie I do not find a correlation between degree of flakiness and age of SBs while you do. Unless you think college girls are inherently more focused, less flaky, than their non college counterparts, I can see no demographic explanation for a correlation between youthfulness and flakiness of SBs.

I think you have made an excellent point about college vs non college young girls.
In Naples we have no colleges and Ft Myers has only one of any size....it's been my experience here that most of the young 20's girls grew up on " the wrong side of the tracks " vs those going to college who had a more supportive upbringing.
One final issue in this regard I'd like to raise is the quality of sex with very young SB's ....again my experience has been that they don't perform very well at all compared to more mature ladies who have some solid experience under their belt.

Performance is such a subjective thing, hard to quantify.  I have enjoyed the pleasures of one of TER's top ten providers, who, by any standards is an absolute tops in performance: She loves role play, toys, greek, cim, ropes, lingerie, well, you name it, she is simply a sexual dynamo and an expert in the art of courtesanship.  So, using her as a standard of comparison, I'd have to concede that many of the younger SBs I date are nowhere near that level.  Some have limited menus, even for what we'd consider vanilla activities, ie, no sex in the doggy position, or no oral!  

Otoh, some are simply sexual dynamos themselves, completely uninhibited, capable of multiple O's, open to any activity I may suggest and full of suggestions on their own.  So It really varies, even within the limited age group I favor.

And finally, there's the unknown factor of what turns you on.  I say unknown, because you never know until you are actually in bed with someone how you are going to respond.  I have one SB in my rotation who affects me profoundly for reasons I cannot explain.  She's young, 19 just about to turn 20. Ive spent a lot of time in Naples and it is very similar to palm desert demographics wise. I have found that the mature ladies are expensive, bsc and just not worth the effort.
