As we all know, life in the Sugar Bowl has its ups and downs.  My experience has been overwhelmingly positive; but wanted to relate 2 stories.

Married but looking, late 20's, killer curvy body.  Smart and eloquent.  States that her husband is much older and allows her to "play around" to fulfill her sexual appetite.  Meet and greet for drinks in the late afternoon at one of my go to restaurants.  Nice service, hidden, upscale.  Great conversation and after 2nd glass of wine, POT SB states that we should get a hotel room and continue the afternoon.  No discussion of $.  As I had 'real world' commitments, reluctantly declined, but offered to see her again in a few days.  Exchanged numbers and shared a deep kiss in the parking lot.  Then....she cancelled our next planned date and nothing but crickets since.

A few months ago met a yoga instructor.  She tall, thin, nice rack and we hit it off at the meet and greet.  She also has a part time day job, but has ample free time.  We make a plan to meet the following week.  Her place with wine and sandwiches.  Talk about how much she loves sex.  A few days prior to the meet, she texts that it looks like Aunt Flo may arrive and that we could still meet and deal with the mess or reschedule.  I politely declined and elected the reschedule option.  Well, she has gone radio silent.  Returned one text message with an apology for not getting back to me and a long story about a niece who ran away and other family struggles.  

Occasionally think about these 2 ladies and wonder what could have been?  Did I miss an opportunity or dodge a crazy?  Of course, ultimately, I quickly pivoted and continue to enjoy my ever changing roster.

and this is something I don't understand about some POT SD's, I ALWAYS plan for success. I know there is at least some chance of a POT SB wanting to get busy "right now" I would say about 25-33% of my first dates end up BCD. So I always make sure I have both the time and the resources to go BCD on the first date to avoid situations like your first example. Yes you clearly blew it on this one and you should use it as a learning experience.

 
The second example is probably just an example of "shit happens" yes you had a window of opportunity, but I can't blame you for not wanting to fuck a girl who is on the rag. Personally, I would have handled it a bit differently, but I won't go so far as to say "you blew this one" too. What I would have done would have been to move the date up, not back. If she only thought her period was "coming in a few days" and she wasn't on her cycle that day I would have suggested we see each other right away rather than waiting until after her cycle was over. I am a firm believer in "striking while the iron is hot" I rarely pass up an opportunity to get new pussy because as you have already found out for yourself, a "yes" today, might turn into a "no" tomorrow.  

 
Now if you live in a pussy mecca with thousands and thousands of POT's to pick from I don't suppose losing a couple is any big loss, but I live in what most people would describe as "pussy Siberia" at least as far as SB's and hookers are concerned so I try not to miss out on any opportunities.

I'll take away two things from your post:  

 
1. You have developed good game in the Sugar Bowl. You patience, vetting and communications skills are all checking the right boxes to provide you great opportunities.  Perhaps it's time to apply for Jedi Knight status, Padawan?  

 
2. Even the best game won't get you a 100% close rate.  If you can convert 50%+ of your M&G's to BCD you're going to have surplus, quality pussy on hand whenever you like.  

 
Since you wisely did not burn either of these POT's after they faded away, you can always try to reconnect after some time.  I'd keep their SA profile names listed somewhere (I always add the profile name to their contact record in my phone, along with agreed allowance, and other key notes like food preferences) and when you are in the next dry cycle, or when you see new activity from them on the site, send a friendly note to "check in."

I screenshot their profiles. That way I can look at them whenever and as many times as I want to without them knowing about it. It’s great for refreshing my memory before meeting them.

Possibly a missed opportunity in your first date as it sounds like she wanted BCD but you never know the particular situation and she may have just been in a position where she needed the money right away. The reality is that you don’t know for sure as you could have gone BCD and ended up in the exact same place. We’ve all had situations where we had a great meet and thought for sure there would be a second but the communication just stops.  Just a part of the very day life in the bowl. I had a great initial meet with a POT about 3 months back and she wanted to meet again the next night. Met for dinner the next night and this time she wanted to continue the festivities and went back to my hotel. Great time and really connected with her and she even spent the night. Took her to breakfast the next day and thought this was going to be somebody I would start seeing on a regular basis. I messaged her a few times and the communication never resumed after the second date so I just assumed we were done. Fast forward to last week and I’m sitting in my hotel prepping for a meeting the next day and out of the blue, she texted me. Was a relationship that I had assumed was completely dead but just another example of the unpredictable nature of the bowl.  Agree with HC in that judging from your past posts, you take your time and cultivating a relationship. In this case, didn’t work out but sounds like you are still having quite a bit of success.  I wouldn't alter what’s clearly working for you over a couple of back to back misses...

In life and the Bowl, I always plan for success....unfortunately time constraints are a reality.  Between professional, social and family obligations,  I navigate narrow windows of time.  For scenario #1, couldn't responsibly extend the meet and greet into BCD activity.  For scenario #2, my schedule did not allow moving the the BCD forward.  Trust me, after closing negotiations, I try and get BCD as soon as possible.  As some wise person on this board previously stated, SB's are like deer...they get spooked and run away quickly.

Same here.  Save profiles of all the SB's that I'm interested in.  Take notes for the ones that I communicate with and rank based on looks and profile.

Agree and have not changed my approach as it is working.   Just wanted to relay a couple of stories and get others views to make sure I don't have any blindspots.
