I have noticed that some reviewers that have seen many popular ladies also frequent TS providers. In these reviews sometimes details of safety are vague. Is this anything you as a provider would be concerned about? As a hobbyist would this keep you from seeing a lady who has seen one of these reveiwers? I have no problem with anyones preferences in service, only in the safety factor. Am I a being a overboard with this or is my concern within reason? I fully understand that this will attract some real stong reactions, so please be honest and fire away. I will not take offence, I am looking for opinions.

I haven't seen a TS provider myself.  I would assume that the provider and the person seeing the provider as also concerned about health and safety.   In any case, as long as I take care, I think my level of safety is the same...Harry

It doesn't bother me as long as I keep up my prefered safety practices.

I don't use an alias for any serious questions and I would prefer not to answer questions such as these from people who don't want to use their "given" TER name

I read an article awhile back about TS prostitution. Most of those interviewed said they had drug problems and engaged in risky sex with their clients for an extra fee. I don't know if they just picked out the worst of the lot or not. I have to say after reading that I do check to see if a provider has seen a guy who has reviewed alot of TS's. I'm not saying I wouldn't consider seeing her based on that, but the red flag does go up.

this hobby.  It is better to do what is comfortable with you.

Since I have greatly increased my hobbying activities recently, I did a thorough test several days ago even though I am always careful and use the proper protection.  That gave me a peace of mind.  I think those hobbyists who visit many different ladies should consider doing that.

Just my 2 cents.

"I think those hobbyists who visit many different ladies should consider doing that."

I'm questioning the 'should consider', as if it is a suggestion.
It should be an understood REQUIREMENT that everyone, regardless of how many people they see, get tested FAITHFULLY every six months. If EVERYONE is NOT doing that, they shouldn't be playing..

Don't consider getting tested - just do it. Every six months at least.

this matter is different.

In an ideal world, everyone should get their annual checkups, use protections for all kinds of sexual activities, be faithful to their SOs, etc.  Since I have many flaws myself, I just don't feel comfortable telling others how to conduct themselves in this hobby unless they went way out of line.

Just my 2 cents.

Basically I ask this question every time I am going to see a commercial companion. Taking certain safety precautions will most certainly minimize the risk of getting some std. However, there are no 100% guarantees in this life and that includes getting infected. I believe with every session there is also an element of chance - you know - being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I am just amazed how many TS's their are, and even more astonished how many reviews they get. I would also imagine 3 or 4 times that many(maybe more)probably have sessions with a TS without writing a review. Not making any value judgements, but every health agency and all their respective data would place TS's and those who have sex with them, among those in the highest risk of carrying some sort of venereal disease. This is further exacerbated by the fact, as it has already been pointed out, that many of those in this group practice some sort of what could be considered unsafe sex.

So, when I see an escort I try to be a realist and not a romantic. I realize I may be her first visitor of the day or her 10th client of the week. I know the smartest thing to do is have no exchange of body fluids whatsoever, but I also know that the liklihood of that may not be feasible. One then begins to make rationalizations and compromises. But just so I don't overly compromise myself I fully assume the following scenario has transpired:

Two days before I see this lady, on the other side of town, two TS's are having hot passionate sex, culminating in 69 and ejaculating in each others mouth. Whether one or both are infected, is not consequential.

One day before I see the lady, this guy who usually sees ladies decides this evening he wants to try a chick with a dick. He sees one of the TS's from the previous evening. As they become more comfortable they start masturbating each other, and as they get more and more stimulated, their genitals brush against and touch one other. They have protected intercourse, but finish off by giving each other a bbbj. The client's mouth and throat is filled and coated with the best that the TS could give. He goes home and goes to sleep so he is well rested for an appointment the next morning. Whether he has been infected or not, is of no great importance.

On the day I am going to see the lady, she already has a very early morning to see the "straight" client from the night before. As soon as he enters her place they get into a soulful dfk. He then goes down on her, comes up to dfk again, she goes down on him, they have protected intercourse, he wants to finish in her mouth. At this particular point whether she swallows or spits, doesn't really matter. If he was infected, he has transmitted it. Meanwhile he is already planning to see another top rated escort later in the week. She rests and relaxes for the remaindar of the morning and day, as my appointment isn't until 4:00 that afternoon.

My time is here. I know my chances of catching something is exceedingly low, since the only thing I ever got was some type of urinary infection, and that was many years ago. I then give some thought to something called the law of averages and quickly push it out of my mind. I finally see her and her place is immaculate. She looks clean and fresh. Hopefully I will be lucky today.

Once again, just remember, all of life is full of risks--act accordingly as you move forward. And in the event of getting infected, please understand it would be rather pointless to get upset, since you knew well in advance there was always that chance-you know-wrong place wrong time.

Ah, yet another "health" related thread by an anonymous poster.

So nice for your concerns, but as I said in the last "health" post, you can either 1) not hobby and be completely safe, 2) use a condom for everything and pray it doesn't break, 3) use a condom for some things and go with the laws of probability and discriminate based on the client/provider, or 4), throw caution to the wind.  That covers everything.  There is no way to ever know everything for sure, even with your spouse of 20 years (just ask the men on this board how many of their wives know they are seeing escorts), so at some point, you either take risks or you don't.

ZZZZZZZ.
