Horrible excuses to cancel a date

Soooo... everybody in the hobby long enough will experience bs cancelation reasons at some point.

"I am sorry honey, but you got out bid so I have to cancel, unless of course you would like to sweeten your deal by throwing in some OTC, in which case I may reconsider your offer."

You could say that you ate something that was bad. You are on your knees puking into the toilet. That should kill any desire to see you now, but leave open the option for your to change your mind.

But I went with the most simple excuse possible.  Nothing outrageous.  I told him that I had bad cramps and think I'm getting my period and need Midol and a hot bath.  He was cool with it.

Now some men wouldn't give a damn if blood was shooting out ur pussy, but that's a deal breaker for me.  Sexual desire is killed when I see blood.  And some women really smell during that time so I can't even get near them.  We all have smelled a woman in our office a few cubicles down that was on her damn period

Modern hygiene (running water, soap, sanitary supplies, laundry machines) let women walk around without reeking of odor.

Here is some real reasons I have cancelled vs some fake excuses. In real life and with provider indicated.
Real: Hit a deer with my car on the way-p4p
Fake: My car just got broke into-IRL
Real: At the last min my Grandma found out I was going to Denver and wanted to go with me. She is old, I love her so I have to bring her. Obviously can't keep the date. -p4p
Fake: I just got ripped off by another provider and she took all my money (after driving by her hotel and seeing about 5 dudes sittingguys hanging out in the door way of her room) fake-p4p
I usually don't cancel on p4p without a good reason. IRL I don't have much of a problem doing it. I figure I am messing with someone living. I better be sure I can and want to make it before I make the appointment.

I'm the same way.  If it's a client date, I'll make it.  Thats my job and I don't mess around.  A civie date?  Not so important.  We can always get together another time.  But the story about getting robbed by 5 thugs is kinda ridiculous don't you think? You could'nt just tell her you can't make it for personal reasons???

Yep, I guess U never encountered anyone with BO or smelly genitals.  Where the hell do you live?  Every been on a subway or bus after work?

You must be the guy who comes around at 6pm to empty all the trashcans

correspondence my preference for NOT being given an excuse if she has to cancel. That is, I would rather her just say "I can't make it" and leave it at that

Ahh, misunderstanding. I didn't tell her I was robbed by the guys slinking around her room. I cancelled because I saw all these guys standing outside her room and got a bad vibe. The lie I told her to cancel was; i got ripped off by another provider that day and was out of money.

Great idea. Lol. I think it is human nature to over explain, lie what ever when we know we are going to disappoint someone. Like it is some kind of weird evil defense mechanisim.

Funny about the ribs. I did have a friend break ribs falling off a horse. So that could work.  Hernia, I just had surgery for that so that could be valid. Twice I've had to cancel because my allergies flared up when traveling. I did call the night before knowing I couldn't make it. I felt bad having to cancel with them especially since I was looking forward to seeing them. From now on I'm taking my pills before I travel. At work if I want a day off I just say I have stomach issues. Bosses don't want details about that.

 Well, it's my turn to be the BSer.  
   
 I have a civie date tonite and I don't feel like going, so I googled excuses to cancel a date and came across this blog that is so freakin funny!  Because clients have used some of these excuses to cancel on me!  
   
 I laughed out loud at the one about falling off a roof and breaking his ribs.  A client a couple years ago gave that excuse and knew it was total BS.  Another horrible excuse I got was from a guy who booked a month in advance, sent me daily emails about his sexual fantasies and lingerie he wanted to see me in, then a few days before our date he said his hernia was flaring up and he needed emergency surgery.

....I felt it was too late to cancel. When the provider arrived I told her about it, and offered that instead of our usual fun we could just fool around instead (at full $$$, of course) if she was OK with that. She was awesome about it and insisted that we have our usual session.  

"Sorry I have to bump you, got an easier guy willing to pay more".  I like the way you think even though we are on opposite sides of the coin.

Civvie dates, well I just say I got injured at the gym...very plausible and can happen that can put me out for a day or two. Work, I rarely have had to cancel and if I do it is a real reason. I don't mess with the cash flow.

I'm getting the spaghetti ready, you can stop by any time.

I've heard a few good ones, but the ones that are really involved and attempt to evoke my sympathy (my house burned down) are the hardest for me to believe. I guess I'm not very sympathetic.

I had a lady cancel on because she ate some brownies infused with pot. But she did not tell me this right away only after I sent her a nasty gram about canceling the appointment with me.

Tell her to bring you some brownies to make it up to you.
