Besides being amusing at times isn't one of the primary purposes of TER is to protect both parties real identities. I contacted a hi rated provider and she wants my real name, phone number and a deposit to boot!I saw this with an agency as well.

I have always given out personal info on myself and never had a problem.  This is going on 10 years and over 60 gals.

Of course I would only do that with someone I felt comfortable with.  I would never give that info out to someone without a track record.

I think that it is important for both clients and providers to be comfortable with what they do, and therefore both sides of the argument are right.

Just realize that you won't be seeing some gals, and let it go at that.  On my end, if I ever do end up with my ass in a sling, I'll have no one to blame but myself.  (And that's just the way I like it to be, too.)

With sites like P411 and date-check around it is less likely that you have to give all your personal info at all times but it is up to the lady to decide what information she feels comfortable with. Keep in mind that some of us do have future endeavors that are constantly at risk that we certainly need to protect. Regarding deposits, if she is reputable, I wouldn't see that as a problem either, I get deposits all the time and never had an issue. It is essential in this business to practice straight forward communication, ask questions so no confusions take place. Regarding the Blacklist, unfortunately irresponsible providers use it for the wrong purposes, to blackmail gentlemen for financial gain or whatever crazy excuse thy can come up with therefore, less and less people are volunteering any personal info anymore. Luckily, this world is rather small so those sketchy characters get weed out from the professional, responsible and mature ladies pretty quickly.

my clients screening information. I think it is utterly irresponsible of a woman not to require it. If a woman is gathering screening information chances are she will never get arrested or hurt. P411 is for references. TER is for promotion. Screening is for the provider to do to the best of her ability. I want to be able to google you and verify who you are. Your money isn't worth endangering myself for. Many gentlemen prefer to see providers who are safe.  

Some BSC hooker blacklisted me and lied about me to other providers.  I've never even seen the person.  Now my personal info is on a blacklist site with a false claim about me and I can't do shit about it.  I don't do agencies, so I'm not worried about not doing business with them.  After this experience, nobody gets my personal info.  My TER white lists are in the double digits as are my P411 OKs and DateCheck referrals, so if some ladies will not accept that, I guess that there are some I won't see.

Yes, TER is a big help, but may not be enough for many providers... And I don't blame them.  That is why I also use P411.  In the early days, looking back, I was a little too cavalier about sharing work info etc to get my foot in the door.  I am much more careful now.  The recent Agency busts in NYC, and associated news stories of hookers flipping and working for prosecutors is pretty scary.  If a woman is not ok with over a dozen okays on p411, my WLs, reviews and checking any references, and still wants personal info - Fuuugetttaboutitttt (just saw Donny Brascoe on TV again).  

So I use P411 and Date-Check as well and never have a problem.  I completely understand if a gal requires personal info, in which case I will not see her.  I have contacted girls who say they require it, told them I'd love to see them but can't give them personal info but then list what I will give them. There is no real hundred percent assurance. Innicent peopke get killed for no reason who dont even take risks like prostitutes and johns do.      I think depending on the voice you can tell alot. I am wary of younger guys. I am less worried if they are alot older. I screen guys under forty two heavily if meeting them online. I feel more nervous about crime and violence withbyounger men. I also dont screen sometimes when lazy orbif they are really nice and 55 or older I am not as concerned. If there are alot of strange reservations being sentin, or you suspect your on some ones radar . Thats when to screen heavily, yes making it more of a challenge for new guests to pass screening. I didnt screen three clientsvthis week but all ifvthem gave info over phone, reservation forms. Talked on phone , I personally dont use hotels so any one that sees me, they will.know my personal info too so.

Some of us have families, friends, coworkers, classmates, etc. who live where we work. That's a huge reason why I require real, full names from prospective clients. If I accepted fake names , I could end up opening the door to one of my professors, a friend of my brothers', or a colleague of my dad's. On one occasion, I narrowly avoided seeing the husband of one of my closest friends. In cases like these, I'm sure the majority of y'all would prefer to do whatever it takes to avoid that awkwardness.  

How often does stuff like this happen when to strangers meeting up actually knew each other?  I can imagine in smaller areas it could be a bit more often, and don't blame you for trying to screen more carefully to prevent it...

I agree.  It is really about BOTH parties being comfortable.  If there is uncertainty, you often can have sessions that are very stiff and not worth it.  As a hobbyist you have to have your limits and not just see any and everyone.  With good research you can sense who is a safe bet with any personal information.  There is a risk in this game that you just have to accept.  Personally, seeing women who do not screen properly can be a bit risky.  They are likely to be sloppy and more prone to get in situations that can get you in trouble.  In fact, in certain cases, if the escort knows more about you with their research you may actually get more respect and better treatment.  This is because she is not worried about you being LE or a psycho.  She knows you are a professional who is not going to try an mess up your career over a sexual encounter.

I hear what you are saying and completely agree.  I just tried to make a date with a provider who wanted so much information on top of my DC and RS2K info.  She wanted name and birthdate and home city and occupation and phone.  Isn't that what DC and RS2K are for?  I mean if you have more than 10 references on a verification site and lots of reviews, and just give your name and phone number, why does she still need all that additional info, including having me contact providers to send her additional verification info?  My feeling is that if you give out all of that info, including birth date, you put yourself at risk for financial crimes like fraud and credit theft, ect..  When I let her know this, she completely flipped and called me condescending.  Well, I guess we didn't click.
