Then I my brain checked. Because I can't believe what I stuck my willie into.

You should get tested if you fuck, period, forget providers. I don't get tested after seeing every single person I fuck, because I'd have a second home at the Red door clinic if I did. Once every few months.

And not for the bullshit reason of "keeping others safe", as if the masses were really so noble, but for the selfish reason of YOU NEED TO KNOW IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING SO YOU CAN GET TREATED FOR IT! Because several, including syphillis and chlamydia could give you no recognizeable symptoms, and seriously fuck you up in the long run if you don't get rid of them. And AIDS... this doesn't require elaboration.

Get tested for the basics, Syphillis, Gonorhea, HIV/AIDS, herpes, and Chlamydia. You can also be tested for Hep, and if you don't already have it, get vaccinated. If you're not raw dicking your dates your odds of staying clean are better than good.

I fail to see what having a SO has to do with it. If you can sneak away to see hookers, you can sneak away to see the dick doctor - just pretend she is gonna blow you instead of sticking a cotton swab up your piss hole. And that reminds me - always ask for the blood test, unfortunately getting poked by a needle is the LEAST painful of all STD tests.

I'm just wondering, but how many hobbyists actually get tested after seeing a provider? And what exactly do you get tested for? And what if you have a SO?

I don't get tested after seeing a single provider. I usually get tested within 3 months or so. If something is off, then I get tested within the month. Good thing my company pays for my health insurance. I would assume you meant getting tested as it relates to your hobby. Simple, I always tell my doctor I sleep around and practice safe sex. I don't usually receive BBBJ, but occassionally DATY and DFK (sometimes). So, the doctor will say, "ok, I'll test you for ALL types of STD/HIV". You give them a urine and blood test, and the results should be back within 7-14 business days. The sample you give him, he'll use it to detect ALL types of STD and HIV. He'll call you if you are positive, or you can go back to get the results. Also, when getting tested, the doctor will examine your nut sack and dick for symptoms. He can put his finger up your butt if you want him too, but that's another type of testing.

I stopped receiving BBBJ and minimizing my frequencies of DATY and DFK cause I always get nervous of the test results. Hope that helps.

and be honest.. Tell him you would like to get tested for STD's.. It is reccommended that everyone who is sexually active play safe and get tested...

If you have something you should tell your SO
and if you don't I would not tell her/him at alll..
You could also suggest she get tested and do it together...........

Make sure you also request a throat swab, as most doctor's will NOT even think to ask you if you want this test, unless you request it. There has been in increase in throat caner, due to HPV of the throat, which shows no signs... you can even have chlamydia, trich or gonorrhea in you throat w/out any symptoms.

I'm sensing that your concerns are coming from somewhere...okay no pun intended...but seriously you must have some sort of worry or regret for participating in an act that you now consider to be unsafe?

First of all, I'm sure we all know these pointers but as simple reminders...

*even with a condom, Herpes can be transmitted.  Please research this online if you are unfamiliar.

*if you want to DATY as safely as possible, or date anywhere down there, simply take a condom, cut it in half and place it over the area to be...errrrr....devoured.  Dental dams are expensive and are essentially the same thing as a condom spread enough to cover/protect.

*if a woman wants to BBBJ you and you aren't comfortable with it, simply tell her and pull out a condom before she starts.

*speaking of BJs, look up lip injections and how common it is for recipients (whether male or female/trans/whatever) to request a Valtrex Rx to prevent a herpes breakout after getting their Resty/Perlane/etc... injections which are intended to make their lips appear sexier.

If you're worried about discretion, there are low cost/free clinics to go to.

If you're worried about your SO finding out...well, best to find out yourself before he/she does.

Get tested for EVERYTHING.  If you go to your regular MD and she/he questions your concerns, simply state something like, "We can't always trust our mates."  I've done this in the past and my doc told me her 60-something had been suffering from "issues" for months before she (MD) tested her for STDs and yes, she'd contracted something from her hubby she'd been married to for 40 something years.

Doctors, bartenders, house cleaners, physical therapists, dentists, providers...the list goes on for those people who've seen it all, heard it all and don't judge.  They just do their jobs.
